Nikki's third album, "Let's Dance" is very bright and up beat ....all the tracks
are themed around dancing. There's a mix of old and new - 6 brand new songs, including
'Don't Give Up' - a song Nikki co-wrote herself, keeping a promise to fans. The title track 'Let's Dance'
was penned jointly by Delta Goodrem, Mark Holden, and Axel Breitung - quite a pedigree.
There are also 6 cover versions of some all time favourite hits such as Dancing in the Street, which was
the first single from the album. Others include 'ABC', made famous by the Jackson Five, Leo Sayer's
' You Make Me Feel Like Dancing' and the very uplifting 'Walking on Sunshine'.
Nikki says the album is a little escape from her every day life. For Nikki this means school:
she's in Year 12 and busy working toward her HSC. With school work, a new album, a clothes range,
and now a East Coast Australian TOUR it's hard to imagine a busier life.
Let's Dance is a more mature sounding Nikki at her pop best and follows her previous success. Nikki was presented with Platinum awards for her very first single, Strawberry Kisses and her debut album Follow Your Heart, together with Gold awards for singles Depend On Me, The Best Days and Something More Beautiful. Follow Your Heart's Platinum sales got Nikki an ARIA nomination in 2002 for Best Selling Album
