The new American Top 40 website is online, in part. Actually it is just a message from Ryan and a form to fill in your address to be notified of new AT40 stuff. www.at40.com

I've already signed up. I hope they either post the chart online or send you the chart by e-mail, in case my station should drop the show (I have a feeling a lot of stations will be no longer carrying AT40 in the next few weeks).

Oh my gosh, I can't believe they are finally getting the AT40 website up. I would never have imagined it would be minus Casey Kasem, though.

What do you think of the new logo? I don't know if I like it or not.

This website is looking very spiffy!
Today they added the voting part to the webpage (you had to order the top 10, i think.) Here's what I did
1. 3 Doors Down - Here Without You 2. Trapt - Headstrong 3. Nickelback - Someday 4. Simple Plan - Perfect 5. Outkast - The Way You Move 6. Baby Bash - Suga Suga 7. Outkast - Hey Ya! 8. Beyonce f/ Sean Paul - Baby Boy 9. Ludacris f/ Shawnna - Stand Up 10. Kelis - Milkshake
And in addition, you could vote for ten other songs. The ones I can remember that I voted for are: Why Can't I, Me Myself and I, Hold On, With You, Bring Me to Life, In Da Club, Numb, F**k It, and White Flag.
It looks like there will be a chart archive! They added a "Charts" section to the menu bar. The chart archive won't go back before the first chart, however. But they show the #1 that week for both the chart & pick.

Clay Aiken is currently #1 among voters on the site.

The Charts section (plus a website) would have been nice say... many many years ago.

The Charts section (plus a website) would have been nice say... many many years ago. Very true. The website is definitely the best new feature of AT40. And it's just a theory, but I wonder if the reason they're not using the R&R chart is because they wouldn't be able to archive R&R's charts on their website. It might be dumb to suggest that, since you'd think R&R would want the extra publicity they'd get from AT40, but you never know.
