Thank God! I was so sick of all those dismal gains. Eamon is the biggest gainer (With only 200-something, but still, we're getting somewhere!). Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, Beyonce, and Pink are all getting relatively nice bullets as well.

...except now several who are past their peak have re-gained a bullet, and there's quite a few odd chart movements. (C'mon, you knew there'd be a side effect ;))

Yeah, that last week and a half was an eternity... and yet somehow the world survived and moved on. ;)

Yesyes, and now we can all sleep peacefully again.
By the way, bullets can't fly upwards.

The one thing that suprised me was "The Voice Within"'s bullet. I thought that wasnt going to have a resurgance...and its in the +65ish zone, which isnt too low, consitering the highest bullet is +200ish. So now im happy that TVW still has a top 10 chance.

This is excellent news! My only complaint is Eamon being the greatest gainer! I'm very happy for Sheryl Crow! I hope Evanescence starts gaining some more soon!

Well they already have a bullet. Problem is, they're not as high as the other two songs they'd been fighting for position with over the past two weeks-Beyonce's Me Myself and I and Hold On.

As if where they are right now compared to Beyonce and Good Charlotte has anything to do with the long run.......Evnaescence #1 baby.

Sheryl Crow coming back was a bit of a shock because she was behind MI throughout the Christmas/New Years break and I didn't expect it to do much better much less pass My Immortal. I think the countdowns really helped her song out and now it's one of the fastest gainers.

Currently it seems Outkast was screwed by the break. They had a much bigger bullet than Nickelback 3 weeks ago but now... Well, they should pick up soon I guess.

Yeah, for another few days it still will be hard to judge the way things will end up. New Years Eve and New Years Day are still in this airplay period. But I can definitely see the break messing up the momentum of some songs. Like "Milkshake" in particular. Before the break it seemed like it was about to take over, now it just seems kinda old.

"Hey Ya" is back above 9,000. It has four charts at Number 1 and the break will hurt it as far as most weeks at Number 1. I wouldn't be surprsied if it gets four or more more weeks to make eight or more charts at Number 1. What's the most charts at Number 1 for a song that was Number 1 during the break?

What's the most charts at Number 1 for a song that was Number 1 during the break? I would think ''Don't Speak'' by No Doubt would be up there with 9 weeks, though I'm not sure what the record is,

"How You Remind Me" was #1 for 8 weeks and was #1 during the break for a total of 10 weeks if you're counting the break weeks.

It's not the only one gaining again, now almost all of the songs in the Top 40 have or are on the verge of regaining bullets. The lowest unbulleted song is less than -400 and the highest really isn't very high, next week will be very interesting as that will determine which songs are staying and which ones are going.
