I'm surprised they haven't given up by now... it's almost certainly going to flop.

i think warner should stop squeezing this album as a lemon. But who knows love profusion seems to be one of the most radio friendly songs from the album. also who knows if the song released will be the rock remix of love profusion that is actually very good

This is one of Madonna's best songs. Too bad it wasn't the very first release from "American Life." It would've done well.

For the love of God, will someone please force Mrs. Ritchie to stop embarrassing herself.
That woman is quickly becoming one of the most desperate B-list celebrities ever.

If Madonna is B-list then who, pray tell, is on the A-list? Mrs. Ritchie used to be A-list before she started sucking. I'll admit that she had some good songs... back during the Reagan Administration.

i think that after this album madonna will surprise the music industry again by releasing a very good album on her standards she usuallyreleases one week album and then ressurects like a phoenix. dont forget shes one of the most longevic acts in the pop music world and usually has one more card to play. i just wish she could leave mirwais and find another producer as she has done with orbit. radio would embrace a new sound

She's digging herself a nice deep hole in the ground.

you think the rock remix would have any probabilities of success?

First off, is this considered the fourth release from 'American Life' or the first release from her 'EP'? Secondly, what version is being used as the main version? I am kinda surprised that Madonna is still releasing songs after she hasn't had a real hit since 'Die Another Day'. Any word on a new CD? I hope she does a Soundtrack song later on this year (that's good) so her streak can continue and then in mid to late 2005 release a new album. I think she should get away from the electronic-dance sound for awhile and maybe try something more acoustic or go for a 'Bedtime Stories' sound again.

I think Madonna may just be done permanently, she should be satisfied with 20 years, going on 21!

Love profusion is actually arleady on the charts in Australia (Around number 30), and i was really really surprised when I heard it on the radio.
I really like the American life album, and I am sure Madonna will be back in time, with more success. She's probably one of the most powerful artists in the Industry. But why the label would continue to release singles that are most likely going to be unsuccessfull is wierd.

Undoubtedly the record company was encouraged by the success of the double-sided commercial single.
This 0-for-4 batting average is just cringe-inducing.

The problem with the American Life album aren't the songs themselves, it's the horrid production. Mirwas really f'cked up big time with this one. The Love Profusion rock remix won't cut it either, because it's not real rock. If she had a real band and even just layed the vocals on it, the song would kick ass, but the cheap and obvious drum machine just ruins the whole thing. Had Orbit produced this, it could be incredible with a guitar solo and everything. She could pull off the pop/rock thing if she did it right.

Well less promoted than Madonna or not, the singles from "Hotel Paper" got more airplay than the singles from "American Life."

>:( Madonna would rather keep on wasting money on her album which is all but done, but when it comes to Alanis they just give up. So Called Chaos better get the support it deserves (promotion, releasing the singles in a normal time frame not 1 year after the first etc.)

She should just quit music and start an enterprise manufacturing red string Kabala bracelets. I'm sure they'd be a big hit with people who still think she's cool ( poor souls).

the truth about is , is that warner is having problems with madonnas maverick and its said is the last studio album of madonna to offe rwarner. so theyre squeezing this album as a lemon to gain money. is not that madonna is auto prooting herself and not caering about maverick artists. but anyway i hope this song does well , i think it rocks and the viodeo looks stunning any of you have heard this song on the estee lauder tv ads?

This is going to flop hard core! I'm sorry but when the twice accuse child molestor Michael Jackson's Greatest Hits that has all the same songs as the last 2 Greatest Hits albums both released within 10 years of each other can sell more than your album of all new music, you are a "B" grade las vegas celebrity.

This song is actually pretty big here in Italy right now... then again they love all songs by Italian-Americans.... Alicia Keys and No Doubt are also very popular here right now! However, I have yet to hear the album version of :LP: here.... just some remix, which isn\t even as good.
I hope this is a hit back home too... it is a good song. but it will not do a thing.
