I like every song in the Top 50 that I've heard. Sadly, this sounds crazy, but I can't recall the Jennifer Paige song, I wasn't a huge Pop radio listener back then. I also don't remember #39,41,44-45,48-50. So what is the biggest hit of 1998, "Iris," "Truly Madly Deeply," or "Torn?" Every chart from 1998 has these 3 songs all in the Top 3, but always in a different order, on this one "Iris" is #1, which I personally think should be #1, or "Torn" but "Truly Madly Deeply" can be linked back to 1997.

Depends... "Iris" spent the most time in the top 20 (and top 10), "Torn" spent the most weeks at #1 (pop), but "Truly" had incredible longevity in the top 2 and top 3.

"Truly" did debut in 1997, but took it's time climbing and didn't hit #1 until early 1998.

Iris spent 26 weeks or half a year in the Top 10 didn't it? "Torn" didn't do that despite many more weeks at #1.
