I felt Joy Enriquez was too Americanized for the Latin charts. It was no wonder she was shunned despite having an "Enriquez" surname! :'(
Here we have a girl from Whitter, CA telling crowds to "Shake it up, shake it up!" while the conga's a waiting line.
What a shame! Arista did not know how to market Joy to the Latin community. :(

I think the fact that she couldn't speak Spanish had something to do with it! Plus, she couldn't even say Puerto Rico.

I think Outkast stole Joy's infamous "Shake it" line. I think I may be the first person to discover this from their so-called "original" song "Hey Ya." :(

Don't forget to ban Beyonce "Uh oh, uh oh" Knowles' "Crazy In Love" from your year-end chart too. She thinks she becuz she co-wrote a song and did ad-lips for Joy, she can STEAL Joy's original song "Uh Oh" and heavily sample it in "Crazy In Love." Uh uh, I don't think so Beyonce... SHAZAM!
Uh oh, uh oh, Beyonce's gonna get slammed with a lawsuit! Joy to the world! :)

She sounds like Brandy on "Uh Oh." I'm listening to her now. I was never a big fan of her voice despite all the praise surrounding it.
