What I think is more "wow"-worthy is the fact that this is considered a CHR/Pop station. Maybe they just recently switched formats to CHR/Rhythmic, and #4, #8, #12, #13, etc. were rock or Hot AC-leaning.

Yes, that definitely looks like a format switch to me.

KBFM and XHTO are Texas stations that belong on the CHR-Rhythmic panel. XHTO changed to CHR-Rhythmic but R&R didn't change them. KBFM has been CHR-Pop in the ratings for as long as I can remember. I don't think it's a format change, I think R&R is just wrong. You can assume much about the playlist of a CHR-Pop station. Also, R&R's charts and the radio station ratings on their site call KCHZ CHR-Pop but it is on the Rhythmic Top 40 panel for Billboard/BDS. I was just looking at KBFM's playlist before I saw this topic.

Yea, they are a little more rhytmic leaning, but they also play a lot of Counting Crows and No Doubt and stuff like that.

Well, hopefully it's removed soon. It's 100% Rhythmic. Think how much more spins Kelis will lose if this station is removed!

KCHZ is getting a lot better about being more open to other songs besides rhythmic, they barely touched "Harder to Breathe" but our playing "This Love" quite a bit now.

If they were switching I don't think they would increase "Can't Hold Us Down" by ten. Maybe, I don't know, it's weird.

I said they're CHR-Pop on R&R and Rhythmic Top 40 on Billboard/BDS. I can't tell you which source to believe and I'm not trying to make an argument for either side. The Rhythmic Top 40 panel has WBLO but they changed formats.

I read KBFM is changing to CHR-Rhythmic today so maybe they will be taken off the panel.

They're now called Wild 104. CHR/Rhythmic for sure.
