For some reason I can't reply in the other thread so I'm starting this one.
This comes from the official website:
Usually, it takes some time for a new song to reach the top of Billboard’s “Hot Latin Tracks” chart, but new singles from top-selling Latin Rock artist JUANES seem to move a bit faster… and stay a lot longer. This was first displayed by the Colombian guitarist/songwriter’s landmark album Un Dia Normal, which still holds the mark for the longest Top-10 chart run of any Latin album in history, and saw numerous singles notch multiple month chart appearances. Now, Juanes’ Grammy-nominated third album Mi Sangre is continuing the trend, as the album’s second single “Volverte a Ver” (“To See You Again”) closes the week as the most-played song at Spanish radio in America and will claim the #1 spot on the next “Hot Latin Tracks” chart. This comes just one week after the song scored the “Hot Shot Debut” designation as the chart’s top new entry. The fast rise of “Volverte a Ver” mirrors the chart success of Mi Sangre’s first single “Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor” – which also debuted all the way at #2 with a “Hot Shot Debut” and went on to spend a remarkable three months (12 weeks) in the #1 slot. Like the extraordinary international success of “Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor” (which reached #1 in 18 countries, including a record-setting 23 week run at #1 in Juanes’ native Colombia), “Volverte a Ver” has also quickly grabbed the #1 spot in both Spain and Colombia and is rising fast in numerous other countries
With “Volverte a Ver” at #1 and “Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor” still charting high on “Hot Latin Tracks” after 23 straight weeks, Juanes actually has two songs appearing in the Top-10 this week – while no other artist has multiple tracks anywhere in the Top-30.
