I wonder how they sound. last year thalia make a remix with a DJ,and don't work. I think that an artist that everydody knows for her style like Jlo. don't need spotlight from reggaeton format like this duet, something like that David Bisbal already do in Spain(A song with Don Omar Too) Could you Imagine later LUIS MIGUEL with reggaeton music? Hello? :o just for that genre is hot right now at latin music

No Doubt about how JLO (Oh,Sorry,I forget that she don't want to be JLO anymore, she is Jennifer,a'ight?) anyway, she could show us how to dance or perrear, but, again she have to make a reggaeton song, just tell me why? a hip hop or dance is ok. but a reggaeton,well...

That's cool you made a thread for this Luis. This might be awesome, or a total disaster. Hopefully it turns out ok. Do you think its gonna be a remix from Rebirth, or a new track altogether produced by like Luny Tunes or Eliel?

I don't think so, my friends heard the song last night, I haven't heard the song yet but they told me the song is kool, not the "hottest" song but nice. I think what she wants is get her image to the level she had it before the whole Marc, Dayanara and J.Lo, also she has the spanish album coming out in October so maybe that song will be on the cd.

yea I heard it on Casa 106.7 today. It was ok. It sounds like an Eliel production. There's some Bachata flava in it if you listen closely. Don Omar sounds kinda cheesy on the track, especially in the chorus. The reggaeton beat really makes JLo's voice sound a whole lot better though. That really helps, cuz the low beat of the original made it sound terribly weak.

The Remix Is not big deal, sounds like they only take the accapella and put on the music, not like she really make a reggaeton, she don't feel "the flow". you can download the Mp3 here: www.blinblineo.net/indexx.htm

J.Lo with its "flow" to Mr. Omar in video
One of the things that never thought Mr. Omar they would happen in its life has been to record the theme "Hold You Down" to duet with the multi talented actress and singer of puerto rican ancestry Jennifer Lopez. "I have done many things in my career and to all I put him the same affection. But there are things that mark the life of one. Never I thought that some day would have contact with Jennifer Lopez", reveals with emotion the solist, who not yet has known it. But both already recorded the theme "Hold You Down" together with popular rapper Fat Joe, Jennifer Lopez was interested in doing a remix with Mr. Omar for a second thrown of her album "Rebirth".
According to Mr. Omar, like the part of J.Lo is English and his was recorded in spanish in the studio of the singer Elephant Man, her husband Marc Anthony wants "that she sings in spanish so that both be more authentic and al the same as for the video". And of all to turn out well with the song, so much Jennifer Lopez as Mr. Omar they would be recording in the next months the videoclip of "Hold You Down". It splits of the stanzas of Mr. Omar in the song, that dedicates his sister Miltzy, 19-year-old, says: "I that saw you to be born, to grow and to do you woman / You that you saw me to dream and this road to undertake / I confess I am You happy and without measure, although in some days, I feel the empty smile. .."
That would tell to have it forward Mr. Omar emphasizes first thing in the morning that he always has admired Jennifer Lopez by being a woman "Most beautiful and talented". "To have the opportunity to begin this new relation with this song for me is impressive. Every day I continue giving thanks to God, because all those things continue passing to my life", declares the solist.
To have forward to the interpreter of "I' m Real", Mr. Omar confesses that "would tell him the proud thing that feel that be puerto rican and by putting the name of Puerto Rico in high". When I met Ricky Martin (last year in an activity to BE of Puerto Rico, in the Center of Fine Arts of San Juan) I told him: "Star boricua is a honor to know it. And he told me: 'Not, the honor is mine". As buying house in Miami Mr. Omar, that the next week will be in Miami with the intention of acquiring a large residence for its comfort, has just received $4 million.
FIRST HOUR knew that the interpreter of "you Give him, Gift, Give him" would receive the $4 million on the part of the record label I SAW Music due to a division of goods in the business, presided by Juan Vidal.
The artist, that did not deny the information to this newspaper and has been sales millionaires protagonist by his disks "The Last Gift" and "The Last Gift: Live", will utilize part of that total for the purchase of his new home in the city floridiana. This Saturday, Mr. Omar will leave toward Chicago to be presented in The Congress Theater, where exactly was its first presentation out of the Island in 1995 when had hit its song "Sounds gives music". Once comply its commitment there, Mr. Omar will leave toward Miami in search of its luxurious house.
I hope it's translated well :)

That's cool news. I wonder if JLo can pull off the reggaeton flow in Spanish. Spanish sounds better over a reggaeton beat anyway. English sounds wack.
