A reinvention of the classic Selena song from her Ven Commigo album, Kumbia Kings add a little more updated cumbia sound to the original. I am a bit biased though so I really still love the original. Must its a nice try.

Sry I know this is off-topic and rude, but I heard a Kumbia Kings song called "Fuego" recently in a club and that track is bangin. I don't know much about them, but I know the Obsession-laden Frankie J has something to do with the group.

Kumbia Kings is A.B.'s (Selena's brother) group. It has gone through many transformations and at one time Frankie J was a member of the group. They have a new cd coming out March 29th called Duets. (I think it will feature this Selena song as well as others.) www.loskumbiakings.com/ <-- This is their offical website. Fuego can be heard through the website. Its on their last album (called "Fuego") I also think there are remixes for "Fuego" too.

Y'all can hear this song at www.tejanomixes.com/newsingles.htmlIm really feelin this remake. The kumbia kings didnt change too much of the song, which is good. Cant wait for their album to drop on March 29. I heard Selena was going to be on two songs in the album, one of them being Baila esta Cumbia. LK2 Frankie J. was in the Kumbia Kings from 1999 to 2003. He wrote most of their english songs and sung lead vocals along with DJ Kane, who also went solo in 2003-04.

Oh god AB is Remixing again!!! The only good Remixes he ever did was for Selena's "Last Dance/Disco Medley" and "Is It the Beat? (Album Version)". This Remix sux! it sounds like an amature Remix. And the added Background Vocals are bad... I hope the Remix for "I Could Fall In Love" isnt this bad. But thats asking alot...

What does that mean? ??? Amature....... This is isnt the greatest remix, but I still give props to AB for not ruining a classic. He kept the song basically the same except for the added Kumbia King vocals in the chorus. Im just glad they didnt have La Pura Neta rappin on it, or sumthin. If you wanna hear some real remixing by AB, listen to Kumbia Kings "All Mixed Up." 10X better than Los Remixes 2.0

It means that this "Remix" sounds like some regular person Remixed it with their computer... Yeah he kept it too close to its original form. It sounds like he just added a few extra beats and vocals over the original version. I dont mean to be rude but I personally think it stinks. I like the original version awhole lot better. And I take back saying AB only had two good Remixes, yeah "All Mixed Up" had some Hot Remixes on it. As for Remixing Selena's songs on a K.K. CD sounds like AB is cashing in on Sel's death... :'(

I agree with u on him cashing in on her death, which is is kinda sad. The kumbia kings and the other groups he works with (LPN, Volumen X, etc.) are talented enough to make dough for AB. He doesnt have to include Selena in his songs. Thats why im glad when i heard that there are ONLY 2 songs with her in "Duetos." Plus, hasnt EMI released like 8 CDs of Selena since her death? (And its all the same material.... now thats cashing in)

Not impressed with the I Could Fall In Love remix. He tried to make it a slow cumbia - I was hoping for a slow R&B mix of it ... not this. Two thumbs down for now - but it could grown on me.

I still havent heard the "I Could Fall in Love" remix. I hope its not as bad as y'all say it is. Usually i would've bought a K.K. cd in its first week of release. But wit "Duetos," it kind of sucks because it only has 3 new songs... I already have the rest of the songs. 18 bucks for three songs.... i dont think so. :(
