This song reminds me of the music inside Hollister!
I'm in love with this song (I'm such a punk poser!)
I think it'll peak at #22 on Pop

I like this song. It doesn't really jump out as a big pop hit. It will probably do well on the west coast moreso than the east coast.
#30

It's a pretty good song, I think it's got a decent shot at charting on pop. I'll predict #16, with a slow rise and going recurrent.

Wow, quite somne optimistic predictions for this single.
The possible crossover performance of this single is all going to depend on how well it performs on Alternative. It hasn't made the Top 20 yet there and is slowly climbing up there. However, it is quite appropriate for the format so at least it SHOULD it there.
But if Yellowcard can't make the Top 20 there, there's no way this is going to chart here.
My Prediction:
If It Makes Alternative Top 10: #29 If It Doesn't Make Alternative Top 10: Will Not Chart
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Yeah, this is going to have to go quite a bit higher on alternative for it to do much at pop. I'll say #42 for now. If it ends up doing really well at alternative, I may change my prediction.

I don't think this necessarily depends on its Alternative performance in the way that some of you are saying, since it's pretty close to straddling the line between pop and alternative. I think on Pop, it'll hit about 5 spots lower than wherever it peaks on Alt.

It doesn't seem like pop likes the punk stuff they did last year anymore. I like "Ocean Avenue" a lot, I'm just not sure if pop radio will be accepting of its sound.

This song rocks hard! I heard it at Circuit City while I was waiting for my car speakers to be hooked up. As I was waiting I was at the stereo section of the store and I heard it on the Sirrus network named "Alternative Nation", I thought that song was a bit old, and I was going to hunt for it, next thing I know on the very next day I see it on Billboard's "Hit Potential" top 10 chart.

Don't think this song is going to take off as well as I would hope. I love this song (almost as much as I love their album as a whole), but after pushing their adds date back, they got a couple of weeks older at some stations (WBBO for instance), and that will come into play later on when the song isn't taking off.
Does anyone think they sound a little like Simple Plan, just with a violinist? I guess to really tell you need to hear their entire album.
