I voted for "Truly Madly Deeply", but they're all good.

I'll just grade them all:
Affirmation A To The Moon and Back A- Crash and Burn B+ The Animal Song B+ I Want You B- Truly Madly Deeply C+ I Knew I Loved You F+
The AC stations really killed "I Knew I Loved You" for me. It wasn't that great to begin with, but I could at least tolerate it at one time.

My favorite song by Savage Garden was always the first song that made me actually pay attention to Savage Garden..."I Want You"...

"I Knew I Loved You" followed by "Affirmation." The movie "The Other Sister" was so bad and offensive it made me sort of dislike "The Animal Song" lol.

many great choices to pick from... for some reason their lowest peaking song on my chart is currently my favorite "Break Me, Shake Me"

"I Want You". Really cool song that kinda had an '80s feel to it; sorta reminded me of Roxette when I first heard it. And I loved the weird video too; one of my favorite videos from '97.

I was never into Savage Garden and I'm still not.... but "TO the Moon and Back" is absolutely amazing. One of my favorite songs of 1998. I don't understand how this group had so many bland songs get to the top of the charts, while their one masterpiece went just about unnoticed.

"To The Moon And Back" is actually their highest charting single in the UK based on peak position; the song reached #3 after being rereleased in '98. I agree, this song is excellent especially the intro! My second favorite Savage Garden song after "I Want You".

I never liked "I Knew I Loved You" when it was popular, but I recently bought the "Affirmation" album and I love the song. It is so hopelessly romantic.. aww.
