A battle of Staind's big pop hits. I love em both, but "so far away" is my current obsession

They were both horribly overplayed, but I didn't get quite as sick of "So Far Away" so I guess I'll vote for that.

I hate It's Been Awhile now. If "Outside" was included, I'd vote for that.

I thought "It's Been A While" was incredibly boring and didn't see why so many people loved it. "So Far Away" was my favorite.

Oh my god, "It's Been Awile" kicks the other one's ass. At least there's some true emotion involved. "So Far Away" is just a totally forced cheerful song whose sole purpose was to appease the critics and get them back on the pop chart.

"It's Been Awhile" was one of the biggest and best hits in Alternative history. "So Far Away", while a decent song, is basically just a copy of "It's Been Awhile".

"It's Been Awhile" is a great song, but I liked "Outside", "Fade" and "For You" all better, and I think "So Far Away" is a very nice tune, so I voted for it.
It's a pity that whenever a rock band puts out a song with a pretty melody, they get so much criticism. In an era when the melody has been more and more overlooked in the making of a song, it has been rock songs which have had the catchiest melodies of late, but it seems that the trend there is also in the wrong direction as songs like this keep getting criticized and people keep crying out for songs that "kick ass", in other words, noisy songs where the vocalists yell out at the top of the lungs and the melody, if it exists, is buried.
