With two multi-platinum albums and three #1 hits on CHR/Pop (five on certain formats with "Loser" and "Duck And Run" topping the Rock Chart) 3 Doors Down have already established themselves as a successful mainstream radio staple.
Which of these early favorites is your choice?
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

"When I'm Gone" edges out "Kryptonite". If I had to listen to one of them right now, though, it would definitely be "Kryptonite".

''Kryptonite'' is definitely my favorite. It may have got overplayed but it's still an amazing single...classic in my opinion. ''Duck And Run'' and ''When I'm Gone'' are probably next. Great songs.

Yeah, I'm also kinda surprised with the number of votes it's getting...many like it, I guess it's just no one's favorite.

No. It's my favorite. It's by far the best song they've ever done. I'm also mad that no one else has voted for it.
1. "Duck And Run" 2. "Kryptonite" 3. "Be Like That" 4. "Loser" 5. "When I'm Gone" 6. "Here Without You" 7. "Away From The Sun" 8. "The Road I'm On"
That's how they rank. As the numbers proclaim, The Better Life kick's Away From The Sun's mother f**king ass to the moon.

The Better Life had way too many fillers on the album.. maybe the choices of singles was (somewhat) strong, but it did not really show how the rest of the album was...

That's how they rank. As the numbers proclaim, The Better Life kick's Away From The Sun's mother f**king ass to the moon. Absolutely agree. Yes, there was some filler on tracks like "By Your Side" and "Down Poison" I felt, but the album was more cohesive and fluctuated a better array of sounds. And they couldn't have done better choosing their singles. "Away From The Sun" is an alright album, but a bit more mediocre. "When I'm Gone" had leftovers of "The Better Life" sound, but otherwise the album is a bit uneven and subtle, with many of the songs sounding the same at the beginning. Not enough meat to it. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Kryptonite A+ The Road I'm On A+ Here Without You A Loser A When I'm Gone A Duck & Run B Away From The Sun B- Be Like That C
"Kryptonite" and TRIO are in a virtual tie, and HW/oY is very close behind: a great Top 5, but the others aren't close. Was "Duck & Run" released to Pop, or on Rock/Alternative only, and how did it do on either? And did come out before or after "Be Like That"? I only know it from my CD.
"Kryptonite" was the most unique sounding of their songs, along with "Loser" I think the new CD is pretty good, but I was disappointed there wasn't anything approaching "Kryptonite" in sound, or "Loser". They sound more like Creed. I would also like to see TRIO released to pop. If WhI'mG and HW/oY could be such massive hits, I think TRIO should also be big, as it's the best of the three by a slight margin. I think it never reached its potential chartwise because of the longevity of WhI'mG, and the release of HW/oY caused TRIO to plummet after it had been creeping up the rock charts for a long time.

"Kryptonite" edges out "Loser" only because it took me longer for me to like "Loser" than it did "Kryptonite".
