As long as they're legal paid downloads, I say why not? It's no different than someone going to the store and buying a CD single... the record company and artist are getting paid for it, so it should help their chart position.

I assume this poll is concerning the Hot 100 and the other singles/tracks charts, because digital downloads already has its own chart. And obviously we're talking about legal download, so it makes perfect sense...

I don't understand the rationale behind "Airplay-only songs must reach the Top 75 of the airplay chart before qualifying for The Hot 100."
But this makes sense tho, since album tracks will not be able to surface on the Hot 100 without airplay.
