Both Ashanti & Tweet came out around the same time in the Spring of 2002. They have similar styles of music. Which do you like better of their debut singles?
I voted for "Foolish".

I prefer Tweet as an artist, and Tweet's album. I love both songs as well. However, I will give my vote to "Foolish".

I absolutely hate "Oops! (Oh My)" and actually liked "Foolish."
A lot of people say Tweet's album is pretty good, but why are the singles just terrible?

"Oops" was one of the very worst songs of the worst year in music in more than 40 years. Therefore, by default, "Foolish" gets my vote.

A lot of people say Tweet's album is pretty good, but why are the singles just terrible? Because the album was neo-soul and she had three out of place hip-hop songs on it and she went and released them. It's like doing an alternative album reminiscent of The Cure and then throwing in a few rap songs and releasing the rap songs as singles. You can't judge by the singles.

"Foolish" is without a doubt one of the worst songs to ever reach #1 IMO. Tweet could have farted over a drumbeat, and I would still vote for her. Definately "Oops" on this one.

"Foolish", but I'm not a huge fan of either song.

Unfortunately, it didn't hit #1...it was blocked by that crap "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton. By a margin of zero spins. I'm voting for "Foolish" here, but I also like "Oops".

I remember their albums both came out on the same day, April 2, 2002
I bought them both.
I LOVED "Oops". I liked "Foolish", but I really loved "Oops" alot, that was a hot track.
You can't really compare the two, IMO. One is a ballad and another is a funky, party kinda jam you get live to in the club.
