Who will be the big story?
Who will get more trophies?
Who win the major categories?
I predict: Record of the Year: Alicia Keys Song of the Year: Alicia Keys (Norah Jones doesn't write her own music) Album of the Year: Norah Jones Pop Album: Norah Jones Female Pop Vocal Performance: Norah Jones R&B Song: Alicia Keys Female R&B Vocal Performance: Alicia Keys
4-3 Alicia

Neither, I hope. I hate when the same people win over and over and over and over...

She may get nominated just because she is Alicia Keys, but I don't think she has a hope in hell against Sunrise, with her first 2 singles anyway. There may still be a 3rd party that hasn't been released yet that will grab the goods too. Of course I'd love Britney to pick up Record of the Year for Toxic, and Cathy Dennis/Bloodshy and Avant to pick up Song of the Year, but that will never happen in a million years.

I hope that Alicia wins at least one or two awards at the most because she has grown musically with TDOAK, but I don't think that her winning more than that would be a good idea. I don't have Norahs album so which one was the better second effort?
Hopefully there is a third party that comes in and have the best year at the grammies but I still think that Alicia and Norah should win atleast one or two each.

Alicia Keys will be one of the bid contenders. What do you mean by that? It will be sad if she walks away with nothing because I'm listening to SIAM right now and that CD wasn't too great. She really stepped up her game vocally, lyrically and musically with TDOAK but that might not get noticed due to how she was so overhyped/overrated the first time. Such a bad move by Clive.

Both will probably win in their respective fields, but if they go head to head in the general categories, I'd much rather see Norah win.

I meant BIG contenders. She will definitely get a nod in Album and Song of The Year. She'll more than likely win R&B Female Vocal Performance and other R&B catergories.

I think Alicia. Neither of them will be a factor in the big 4 though.
Look for Loretta to win album of the year.
