Out of these choices, I would select "VH1's Top 20 Countdown." I think it is a pretty neat and organized countdown show.
BET's "106th and Park" and MTV's TRL countdowns really suck. MTV "Direct Effect," and "Hip Hop Countdowns" are alright.
But nothing comes close to "America's Top 10" with Casey Kasem, which used to be on the air from 1980-1993.
That was the best video snippet countdown show ever. It was very professional and well organized. I loved it!

VH1 Top 20. That show has really gotten better while TRL has gotten much worse.

106 & Park is much better than TRL (we actually get it in Canada now). TRL would actually be not too bad if they actually show the entire damn thing and not insert shout-outs in the middle of videos. 106 & Park is decent now that it's not Bow Wow & B2K land.
I also like 106 & Park's Freestyle Fridays.
I don't get any of the other countdowns listed.

TRL sucks, plain and simple. They play too much of that wannabe punk crap, like the Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, etc...and it gets on my nerves. They don't play the hits, and the hosts are annyoing as hell (except Vanessa, she's HOT. ) Direct Effect is decent, they play some cool stuff and keep me awake, but DJ Clue can get on my nerves. 106 & Park is fine.
