Both songs seemed to have been completely out of the pop chart contention when they just kept going and going. Switchfoot is on its way to a top 15 while Fuel peaked inside the top 15.
Who's song is better?
Close, but I'm going to pick Switchfoot.

I will vote for Fuel over Switchfoot any day. I do like both though.

Switchfoot has been on my chart for 34 weeks and Fuel for 37 weeks both near the top 10 for longest charting songs ever. I give the edge to "Meant to Live" though.

"Meant to Live." "Falls on Me" is just a bit too bland.

Both songs are bland in my humble opinion.

I've been a Fuel fan since "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" came out. "Meant To Live" couldn't hold a candle to any Fuel song.

Switchfoot by far. I expected too much more from Fuel's last album

Both are good songs. "Meant To Live" is more creative, or at least is more distinct from the rest of the pack, but "Falls On Me" has a good melody and a more pleasing sound to me, so that's what I vote for.
