Which group has greater potential for a pop radio comeback?

No way! Neither of them will make a comeback, but if I had to choose one, it would definetely be NSYNC. Why? Easy. NSYNC has had Justin go off, do his own thing, and score huge hits and even get some credibility with the Urban audience. JC didn't do awesome, but at least his name is out there. BSB has done nothing the past few years and they'd probably just come out and do "I Want It That Way: II". Seriously...Backstreet Boys are done for good. I also think Justin's solo career has taken off well enough that he'll be more than fine on his own, so probably no more NSYNC.

Actually, considering how "Shape of My Heart" sounded, I think they're now on to "I Want It That Way: III". Does N'Sync really need to make a comeback? I mean, unlike BSB, they never really flopped. If they released another successful album, I think it would just be considered a success, not a "comeback".

'N Sync probably won't be back into 2005 because they are letting JC tour for his album.

I have to agree that Nsync is more likely to do better, based mostly on Justin's success. But I hope both of them do very well. I miss their music. The backlash against the "boy bands" in the US had even less to do with the music than the earlier mania surrounding them. It's taken a long time for pop and soul in general to recover from the backlash.

I'm rooting for BSB, but *Nsync will be more successful.

I don't think NSYNC will put out anything more other than a greatest hits CD.

BSB will be hit or miss. EIther they'll have a strong first single and go on to 3 or 4 million copies sold, or they'll bomb.
I agree that N Sync will put out a GH album with 2 or 3 new tracks, and have a farwell tour to go along with it.

I vote BSB, particularly at AC stations, as they had almost every hit be a sucess there, whereas Nsnyc only had a couple hits there. BSB just sounded a lot more grown up, Nsync was really popular among young teens and single digiters (did I make that word up? lol). Again though, BSB sounded more grown up, and had a female target audience in general towards the end I think.
