PSI Daily Update:
Well, were slowly growing with our audience week by week, and with more people voting, means more chances for the performers to win and lose. Before the announcement of Group C, to finalize last week, here are the winners
Advancing to the Finals- Nelly Furtado (25%) Advancing to Wild Card- Celine Dion (20%)
Congratulations to both performers. Now, what you all have been waiting for, Group C. This week's fun, angry, or just having a good time themed week is called (Upbeat n' Fast or "Kick Your Ass") to bring up some energy after last week's easy-listening theme. Remember, artists will be performing their own songs. Enough with all of this, here are this weeks performers, quite a diverse crowd if you ask me.:
Brandy Eminem Jon Bon Jovi Kylie Minogue Michelle Branch Rob Thomas Shirley Manson Sting
Start figuring out what songs you want these guys to sing, performances will be posted Tuesday after American Idol, if you guys would like more time, we can extend it, but I think this will do fine. Remember, you choose the winner, and it's up to you to promote who you want to win, who you think stinks, and to promote PSI as much as possible. This has been your PSI Daily Update. Have a good rest of the weekend.

Brandy- What About Us? Eminem- Lose Yourself Jon Bon Jovi- It's My Life Rob Thomas- Disease Sting- Every Little Thing Kylie- Love At First Sight Michelle- Are You Happy Now Shirley- Special

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if perhaps, at least for the semi-finals, we cut the two day wait for the performances, and just add a day to voting. It seems like people caring what songs each artist go for isn't that big of a deal. I need to hear some of your thoughts!

Sorry for all of you guys waiting, HOWEVER, the judges response to performances will be posted at 9pm, following tonite's American Idol...come on just like the show, always keeping the viewers waiting. If you're lucky, I might just post it before, but doubt it, we'll see.

Well, we're back from the break, and now finally after a long three days, it's time for these popular artists to perform. Tonight we have Brandy, Eminem, Jon, Kylie, Michelle, Rob, Shirley, and Sting, all of them with a Top 10 hit under their belts on various charts. Along with these stars, we have an "angry, shocking" man himself guest judging, Howard Stern. Well enough of me talking, but lets get going with tonight's "kickin' ass" performances. Our first performance will come from one of the most "angry" labeled singers in years, rapping his way to the stage, here is Eminem
Eminem- "Kim" Crowd Rating: 8 Judges Comments:
Randy: ......Em, you have sold millions of records, have written so many great songs, but this, just completely over the edge, more than any artist we have ever had before. Your performance was you, it was "shocking", but I don't think anyone is going to vote for you after this, but, maybe people want someone who is causing trouble, I don't know dog.
Paula: Very vulgar, you have brought nothing to this competition tonite, I respect you as an artist, but not waht you have done tonite, at least for the majority of the viewers.
Eminem: You said you wanted Anger, and you got it.
Stern: You know, in your defense, this week was themed anger, and you brought it. (laughing) I don't think that's what people expected, but maybe that's what this competition is all about.
Simon: You have to be a complete idiot to sing that song if you want to win, but I can't blame you, that was very angry, and...maybe some others will feel your anger. I can tell you, if you would somehow, and I have no idea how you would do it, advance to the next round, there's no telling where you can go, since you have sang the worst possible song you could have already....to be honest though, you really aren't meant for this competition, and perhaps that's what you are trying to convey....
c-crest- wow! I haven't seen that much shock in a while, looks like we are going to be off to a wild start. Entering next in tonite's performance, here is someone on the happier side, here is Ms. Branch...
Michelle Branch- Are You Happy Now? Crowd Rating: 7 Judges Comments:
Randy- Yeeah! You were really hittin' the notes, and being angry at the same time. You have definitely brought the fun back to tonite, good work.
Paula- Michelle, that was really great. I know you probably did not have any other choices for your songs tonight, but you did exactly what were looking for, sing a good tune.
Howard- Michelle, my daughter loves your music, and though it's not my style, I can see why you have so many fans, that was great.
Simon- Well, the only thing I can say is that your performance was better than the last performance tonite. It was just "OK" for me.
Seacrest- Thanks Michelle, I really like that one, well up next is a performer who has penned dozens of huge hits in the past years, including some for his own band. Coming up next, is the "smooth" man himself, Rob Thomas.
<< enters Rob Thomas with 15 black women >> << crowd ooh's and ahh's>> Rob Thomas- Downfall Crowd Rating- 2 Judges Comments:
Randy- Yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo, WOW! I'm not sure if their is anything against having specific back-up singers, which I thought was a little too...I don't know, "flashy", but the tuxedo, and the song, and surely the performance, was one of the hottest I have ever seen in any of the competitions I have been involved in, that was great! HOT
Paula- I totally agree with Randy, outstanding job, I've never heard the crowd so 'mystified' by a performance Awesome.
Stern- Rob, I have to give you props. I'm not a huge fan of some of your songs because they are overplayed, but I understand why they are played so much, that kicked ass.
Simon- You know, if it wasn't for the back-up singers, I would have thought I was guest judging for Nashville Star. You tend to sound like a country singer at times, but I'll be honest, that was a good performance. Good job.
Seacrest- Well it looks like Simon took his happy pills for once, because that is the first time I have heard him say something nice in a while, well, it's now time to meet the beautiful new mother, Brandy, let's go
Brandy- Full Moon Crowd Rating: 3 Judges Comments-
Randy- How you feelin' Brandy? Brandy- Great
Randy- Good, because you look great, that sounded great, it got things moving, I loved it, that was hot, great job.
Paula- You really do look beautiful tonite. Agreeing with Randy, I thought that was a good performance, i think your a great performer and if you don't advance to at least the wild card, people are crazy.
Howard- Brandy, I have what you call Jungle Fever. You look so hot tonite you could have sang O-Town and I would have enjoyed it. Anyways though your voice did sound great.
Simon- Good voice, terrible song choice. << boooo >> So what, it was upbeat, but so is someone drowning, I imagine that would be upbeat too. Simply put, Your voice was great, I just did not like the song.
Randy- What are you talking about? That makes no sense. Just because you don't like the song doesn't mean it was good.
Simon- If we had a competetion of songs that I enjoyed to hear these past couple of weeks, it would only feature about three people.
<< booooo>>
Seacrest- I can't wait to the day he sings something for us because I'll critique him like no other. Brandy, that was a good one. Well, were halfway through the competition, and now kicking off the next half is our good friend Jon Bon Jovi singing one of his smash hits..
Jon Bon Jovi- You Give Love A Bad Name Crowd Rating: 5 Judges Comments-
Randy- Dawg, that just, that was terrible. I loved that song 15 years ago, but it just did not sound good. Female fans can only take you so far in this competition. Better luck next time dawg.
Paula- I disagree, I thought that was great. It reminds me of those good ol' days, great job Jon
<cheers>
Howard- Good ol' days? Back when you were #1 Paula? Anyways, it wasn't bad, but I agree, I'm too familiar with the one I use to hear back in the day, I didn't like the changes you made in the song, a little cheesy dude.
Simon- <sigh> You know, I can't recall anyone with the name John that should have been in this competition. All the hatred in AI3 for John Stevens can be transferred to another John, Jon Bon Jovi. That was dreadful.
Seacrest- Wellll, okay, maybe better luck next time, but I'm sure those whistles in the crowd are some voters for ya Jon. Now up, is someone "special" to the competition, her is Shirley Manson....
Shirley- Please don't introduce me as someone with mental disabilities Ryan
Shirley Manson- Special Crowd Rating- 1 Judges Comments-
Randy- Yeeeeah! Yeeeeeeah! Yo Yo Yo, Shirley, you look great tonite. I was feelin' that song, and that just, WOO! I was feelin' that dog, very great, suprisingly, just plain awesome performance.
Paula- Shirley, I have to be honest, I was not expecting a performance that great from you, that could have been one of the best performances I have seen this whole competition.
Howard- Shirley baby, how many times do I have to tell you, you are the sexiest woman in Rock n' Roll, why haven't we heard more from you lately?
Simon- That was different. You know, you're the first of the "rock girl" type we've had this competition, and we have a lot of them to go. I know your record, you are a great performer, but how many songs do you have that can carry you to advance round to round? You are great now, but I feel that your image will become boring, or old as the competition goes on, we'll have to see what happens.
Seacrest- Well do you think that it was good.
Simon- Yes, I said it was good now, but later it could become boring.
Seacrest- Well, whatever that means, but anyways, this place is getting wild, and hopefully keeping the crowd at their feet, here is the master of tantricity himself, Sting!
Sting- Desert Rose Crowd Rating- 6 Judges Comments-
Randy- Dawg, I'll be honest with you, I thought that was just terrible. You barely sang, it was like you were talking, and the back-up singers we're the ones taking control, I know you are great, but that wasn't.
Paula- Yeah, it was okay, I would have preferred something more 'soulful', or a little more energy, but that wasn't bad.
Howard- Gordon, you kicked ass with the Police, you ruled as a solo artist in the 90's, but now, I just don't feel your style.
Simon- You have just invented a new weapon for war. You singing that song . It would clear more people out than Nagasaki or Hiroshima. Absolutely horrible.
Seacrest- Well buddy, I'm sure you have enough supporters that can support you, I still thought it was great. Last but not least, is the beautiful Kylie Minogue, here she is...
Kylie Minogue- Love At First Sight Crowd Rating: 4 Judges Comments-
Randy- You know, their has been just too many good looking women performing tonight. Performing well! You look smoking and that was smokin', WOO! That was hot!
Paula- Kylie, I have always looked to you as one of the best divas worldwide, if you aren't in the finals something is wrong.
Howard- I'm going to leave a pull a George Michael. Awesome.
Simon- Theirs good news and bad news. The good news is, you looked great tonite, people will always remember this performance. The bad news is, it has been your last. You simply do not have what it takes, at least not tonite Kylie.
<<< BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO >>>>>
Well guys, that has been the singers of Group C. Remember, you have until Friday Morning to vote and promote, your favorite artist. Next week we'll be advancing two of these great performers, and be meeting Eight new ones to be analyzed by all of you. For me, I'm out of here, it has been a shocking, fun, and wild night, everyone take it easy. Seacrest Out.
THE VOTING HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN UNLOCKED, LET'S GET IT GOIN'!

Shirley is the Amy Addams of this competition, I wonder who will be the John Stevens?Β I have yet to vote, but I think the competition could use some males. Pretty predictable so far. Though Kylie could be the sexiest woman ever.

Hey insect, sorry buddy, but I thought this would be something he would choose, and it's worth downloading to hear, trust me. But hey, vote for him if he's your favorite, that's what this competition is all about.

I voted Shirley. I might have voted Eminem if a different song had been chosen, but I have to agree with the "judges" on this one.

I tell you what, not to start a bias, but I wouldn't mind seeing Shirley in the finals, however, I can't figure where all of this is coming from, she BARELY made it into the Semi's. Whatever, things are getting interesting, and that's what this is all about.

it's easy, just vote on who you want to, just like the show, you don't necesserily have to agree with the judges, it's all you. that easy.
On the other hand, I just wanted to say, that I think Stern would actually be a decent judge if he was ever on.
LET'S GO FOR 25 VOTES THIS SERIES!!!

PSI Mini-Update
Just a quick reminder, remember that voting ends tomorrow at 12 noon. Make sure to put in your vote by then rather than stalling out hoping you can have the decisive vote. It's a close one between Kylie, Shirley, and one of the few succesful males of the competition, Rob. Make sure to vote! This has been your PSI Daily Update.
