WHAT YOU SEE ABOVE ARE NOT ALL THE OPTIONS!
You may only vote once here, but there are six more choices and the opportunity to pick up to FOUR songs that you like over at my website, SoundCheckMusic.com ...I don't mean to pass it off as a plug, but it's impossible to throw 15 options onto an 8-question poll, so if you're interested, head over there.
I recently took a survey over at the pop board of which graduation songs there have been in the past 10 or 15 years. The fifteen that I have come up with are as follows:
Sugarcult: "Memory" (2004) The Calling: "Our Lives" (2004) No Doubt: "Running" (2003) The All-American Rejects: "The Last Song" (2003) The Ataris: "In This Diary" (2003) Dropline: "Fly Away From Here" (2002) Lee Ann Womack: "I Hope You Dance" (2002) Eve 6: "Here's To The Night" (2001) Vitamin C: "Graduation (Friends Forever)" (2000) Baz Luhrmann: "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)" (1998) Green Day: "Time Of Your Life" (1997) The Rembrandts: "I'll Be There For You (Friends Theme)" (1995) The Pretenders: "I'll Stand By You" (1994) Boyz II Men: "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday" (1991)
Only the ones I like are posted above, so if you want to vote up to four times and for songs that are not options up on that poll...then like I said, visit my homepage. It'll take 30 seconds tops!

I don't think "Our Lives" is a graduation song. Lyrically, it sounds like a song to console everyone after 9/11 and through a time of fear and terrorism, encouraging to go on about our lives and make the best of it.
"Time Of Your Life" undoubtedly is the best.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Vitamin C "Graduation" is the BEST! I really don't think anybody can touch this! It still get radio play. The music video is even about Graduation. This is the best in my book!

No Such Thing by John Mayer. I agree with that one. I'll also vote for The Rembrandts, although that was not intended as a graduation song... Good thing I didn't graduate in 1999... having that Baz Luhrmann song would make me not want to remember that graduation...

I didn't like that Baz Luhrmann song either. I voted for "Running".

If "No Such Thing" made the list, I would have voted for it most likely, as that is also a well-arranged graduation staple that'll be remembered for years to come.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton
