Group A is this week's official bottom three, later tonight who will be leaving will be announced.
Questions to think about:
- How has Rivers made it this far?
- Who is leaving out of the bottom three?
- Is PSI Racist?
- Next week's theme is TBA, any ideas?
See ya soon

I am really sorry, the bottom two are actually:
Toni Braxton and Jewel
The bottom three were really close, but I'll have all the stats up later, but Toni and Jewel are the bottom two.

Well, we have finally reached the elite eight. It has been a tough week for many of the finalists choosing which song of each others to choose to sing. Here's what we have got lined up tonite: It should be a night to remember, so let's get things crackin', wooo! Toni Braxton- If You Asked Me To (Celine)Audience Ranking: 2 Judges Comments: Randy: "Yeeeeaaaaah Toni! You're back, I think you should be feeling pretty safe dog, that was hot!" Paula: "I agree, Toni, you sounded great and you look beautiful" Simon: "Toni, you sounded great tonight, but to be the next idol, this has to happen every week, not just every once in a while, but not bad" Celine Dion- Unbreak My Heart (Toni)Audience Ranking: 8 Judges Comments: Randy: "Ohhhh Celine.....that was just bad, I don't know why, it just did not sound good tonite, sorry" Paula: "Celine, nobody's perfect, I'm sure your fans will still stand by ya to see whats up for next week" Simon: "The beheading of farm animals could be said to sound more pleasant than that" Amy Lee- I Think I'm Paranoid (Shirley)Audience Ranking: 5 Judges Comments: Randy: "Kinda uplifting, you seemed energetic rather than dark for once, it was aight....." Paula: "Amy, great song choice, you seemed like you were enjoying yourself up there, good job!" Simon: "Amy, you are just living by the thread of covers, and next week when it's not a cover week, will be your last if this isn't, I'm sorry, you just aren't ready yet" Shirley Manson- Photograph (Rivers)Audience Ranking: 6 Judges Comments: Randy: "Dog, the fact you are singing one of Rivers', well that just ain't gonna help, but you did aight, nothing special. not like last week dog" Paula: "Randy, quit always putting down Rivers, Shirley good choice, that was upbeat and necessery for tonight" Simon: "Shirley, the fact that you are still in this competition surprises me more than Rivers being here" Seal - My Immortal (Amy)Audience Ranking: 7 Judges Comments: Randy: "Only one person can sing that song, and that's our Amy dog, it wasn't bad, wasn't good though dog" Paula: "I agree, Amy is much better at that type of ballad, but you sounded good" Simon: "That was a complete train wreck, Celine must be so happy now" Rivers Cuomo- Prayer For The Dying (Seal)Audience Ranking: 4 Judges Comments: Randy: "Rivers, of all the songs, all the artists, all the fun you could have, you choose Prayer For The Dying dog.......you were serious, you weren't acting a fool, it wasn't bad dog" Paula: "Rivers, you just gained some more voters, a side we haven't seen before" Simon: "Rivers......you know, that wasn't as awful as it could have been. As much as people want you gone, I respect the way you have been handling all of this, and with tonight's performance, I don't see a possible way you will be heading home" Rob Thomas- I Will Remember You (Sarah) Audience Ranking: 3 Judges Comments: Randy: "You know, all of these people sound sad for a reason dog, with Sarah's writing, and your performance, it couldn't be beat, not bad at all" Paula: "Rob, I could cry right now, absolutely beautiful" Simon: "Rob, it was good. However, I'm stil lwaiting to hear a difficult song choice for you to sing, however, it was good" Sarah McLachlan- Bright Lights (Rob) Audience Ranking: 1 Judges Comments: Randy: "Yeah Dog, Yeah, Yeah, Sarah's Back, and she's on fire dog, that was hot...yeaaaaah!" Paula: "Sarah, that was fun, great job" Simon: "To be honest, as much as you do not belong there, you'll be back at number one this week, it was good" Well those are all of the recaps for this week's perfromances. Don't forget, to vote, please PRIVATE MESSAGE your top THREE performances to: rkwo for all Pulse users, and rjkwo for all M4B users. Have a great week, voting will end on thursday night. VOTING IS OFFICIALLY OPEN!!!! Just incase, here is who's left.

ummm, this was pretty fun, but those performances weren't realistic at all.
I hate Celine, but she'd do fabulous singing Unbreak My Heart, and likewise there is no way I can imagine Sarah doing a decent job on Bright Lights, it just doesn't fit her voice at all.
Sorry about throwing the criticisms in there, but it had to be said.

Sorry about throwing the criticisms in there, but it had to be said. I disagree. Unbreak My Heart is exceptionally rangy especially in the lower registers and only a true contralto could get into those lower registers and Celine's forte is her higher registers, not lower. When you break it down, Toni has the bigger voice although Celine's is more versatile.

Group A definetely. I think this is Seal's week to go. Suggestion for the next round: Hits of the 2000s!
BTW I'm bringing back CHR Survivor as soon as there are only 10 songs left on the chart from last game. It'll take forever to wait for JoJo to go, but I'll hold out for Naughty Girl, I Don't Wanna Know, etc.

Some suggestions for songs.
Rock night. Each must do a rock song from the 70's.
Soundtrack night: Each must do a song from either Footloose or Dirty Dancing, just those two to choose from.
50's night. Each must do a 1950's song.

Seal Shirley Amy
Sunday Night we'll reveal who's going home.
If anyone has time, please make a list of all the songs each remaining artist has sung, or any other stats and recommendations you have. Have a great weekend.

Say goodbye to Shirley this week, not bad for getting to the final eight. Tomorrow night the other seven's recaps will be up, but I'm looking for themes and recommendations for tomorrow. I'll put them up around 11 or so so just post it. Take it easy.
Again, Shirley has been eliminated.

Well, after getting some recommendations from the public, it's time to have a recap of last night's performances. Remember, we are down to only seven, the lowest amount of people performing in the same night so far this whole competition and it's going to just keep getting smaller. Well let's get things started. This week's theme is with recommendations of going way back, this week, we will be doing the 1960's. Well lets get going to hear the recaps. Seal- Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye (Steam)Crowd Rating: 2Judges Comments: Randy: Seal, way to kick off such a strange night. You sounded soulful for the first time in a while. You sounded great, yeeeah dog, that's him dog, Seal. Paula: "Seal, sounds like you started tonight off with a bang" Simon: "Hmmmm, I have nothing to say. It wasn't great, buti t wasn't necesserily bad. Hopefully you'll escape the weekly cut, you've been awfully close for a while" Celine Dion- We've Got Tonight (Bob Seger)Crowd Rating: 4Judges Comments: Randy: "Celine, what can I say, for most, it was great, for you it was aight, you added some great vocal to the song, and not bad dog" Paula: "Beautiful voice, beautiful song, awesome" Simon: "Celine that was a decent performance if it was 70's night you nimwit. You should remember, you were probably about 30 or so in the 70's. I'm kidding! However, Celine, it was all right, but nothing too remarkable. It was okay" Rob Thomas- Honky Tonk Woman (Rolling Stones)Crowd Rating: 3Judges Comments: Randy: "Ha ha ha yeeeeah dog, that was some Honky Tonk dog! Yeeeah Dog, great job Rob" Paula: "Rob, keep that up, and you'll have no problem being here for another month" Simon: "I thought it was all right. Plenty of energy, plenty of Mick, but not too much of Rob. I wasn't expecting too much extra added to the song, but maybe something" Paula: Well isn't it a cover? Simon: yes, but you just can't copy the song. That's what cover bands are for." Toni Braxton- Keep Me Hangin' On (Supremes)Crowd Rating: 6Judges Comments: Randy: "Toni, I thought you sounded aight. Wasn't your greatest performance, not so sure about the song selection, not reallly your vocal range" Paula: "I disagree, I thought it was great" Simon: "Yes. Toni, not the song for you to sing. It just, that performance didn't do it for me at all. I could go to Karaoke Night down the street and hear the same thing. Good Luck advancing" Sarah McLachlan- The Lion Sleeps Tonight (Tokens)Crowd Rating: 7Judges Comments: Randy: "Wow.....Sarah, the last song I''d ever expect you to sing.Dog, that just, hmmm, it just wasn't your song dog." Paula: "Sarah, I love that song, good effort" Simon: "Sarah, I'll be honest with you. You better pray that you mkae it through this week. You should be feeling the same amount of embarrasement from that perfromance as George Michael had in the bathroom. If that performance was from anyone but Sarah McLachlan, no question they would be gone. Absolutely pathetic." Amy Lee- Downtown (Petula Clark)Crowd Rating: 5Judges Comments: Randy: "Yeeeah Amy, first time I've heard a sound like this f rom you, and I loved it dog. You know, you may surprise people, may go a little further than expected" Paula: "Amy, you look so vintage, so great, great work" Simon: "I think you look like a time traveler threw up on you, but the performance wasn't bad. I think more than anyone you have grown in this competition week by week, but the question is, does the rest of the voters?" Rivers Cuomo- Turn! Turn! Turn! (Byrds)Crowd Rating: 1Judges Comments: Randy: <stands up and claps> "All right dog, you finally got it right. I don't know if it will ever happen again. But it's your night Rivers, it's you dog. Yeeeaaaaaah!" Paula: < tears > "Rivers, one of the most emotional performances I've seen a while, very respectable. Ha, especially the suit" Simon: "Randy stole my words for once, excellent job Rivers" Don't forget! To vote, send your Top Three in a private message to RKWO: if you are in the Pulse Musicboard RJKWO if you are in the M4B Get your votes in as soon as possible, some of you turn them in late and make things difficult. Thursday at 11pm is the deadline! See you then, would love to hear comments!
