I've heard this will be the third single from "The Long Road", the second to go mainstream.
This is an obvious candidate for their next single, and should perform quite well I imagine.
My Prediction: #8

This is a really good song. I don't see it doing as well as "Someday". I'll pick a peak of #12

I'll predict #14, it's a good song but not as radio-friendly as "Someday." I hope they release a 4th single, hopefully it's "Do This Anymore," it's my personal favorite from the album.

That sounds like a horrible title for a single.

Great song and great cd, but I doubt it'll do much on top 40.

This has grown on me more recently. I definitely like it more than "Figured You Out". "Someday" took awhile to grow on me too. Maybe it will be a slow grower at CHR/Pop just like "Someday" was too.

This has grown on me more recently. I definitely like it more than "Figured You Out". "Someday" took awhile to grow on me too. Maybe it will be a slow grower at CHR/Pop just like "Someday" was too. "FWTDG" will most likely move up the chart in a way similar to "Here Without You" or "Headstrong" in my mind, eventually speeding up and reaching the Top 10. The video indeed has a lot of appeal to the younger demographics here, which many of their videos never could really do. "Figured You Out" was too dark and raunchy and "Someday" and "Too Bad" had some tough imagery of car crashes and abusive faces. "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good" however has a video that will directly approach younger demographics, with the kind of love storybook fantasy feel to it. This has more special effects than their other videos and has an upbeat feel. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Does the song have an add date yet?

I don't think it is a catchy as their 1st two singles. I suppose it will grow on me though.

This goes for adds on June 8.
If there's one problem I have with this song, it's that little airport announcement clip.

I think they should move the add date forward, at least into May. Maybe they will have a radio edit that will take the airport clip out of the song.

#39 in the UK, and 'someday' was a top ten.
It's dreadful...

This song is a disaster. Not goot at all. Though Someday was a decent song and I can't believe the longitivity it had on the charts, I don't expect it to do too well, however, because it's the follow-up to someday, it will at least get some spins.
My Pick: Weeks In The Top 50: 8 Weeks In The Top 40: 3 Peak: #38

I love this song. Top 10, just because it's a little rocky for pop.

NICKELBACK Feelin' Way Too Damn Good Producer(s): Nickelback, Joey Moi Writer(s): Nickelback Publisher(s): various Genre: POP Label/Catalog Number: Roadrunner RDRR 10092-2 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: June 05, 2004
Nickelback just keeps on rolling along. This is single No. 3 from the act's double-platinum album "The Long Road," which remains in the upper half of The Billboard 200 after 35 weeks. With "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good," the Canadian quartet delivers a midtempo number—a sound that may surprise decision-makers at radio. Still, the Nickelback sound is unmistakable, giving enough rock attitude to satisfy those formats and containing pop tendencies that can earn it a comfortable seat at top 40. Lyricist/frontman Chad Kroeger exposes even more of his heart, singing of a two-day hotel stay with his beloved. The lyrics sizzle at times ("Gotta make love just one more time in the shower"). Of course, those that get bitten by the love bug this summer will only relate that much more.—CLT

It's pretty good. I am amazed at how some people can love Someday and hate this. They aren't exactly the same songs, but Nickelback does have a thematic sameness to their music that I figure people tend to like, or not like with little in between.
Nickelback has more of a classic almost Southern rock sound to this song that I kind of dig.
