Predict who you think MTV will give this award to, not who you think deserves to get it.
Here's what i think...
1. Alicia Keys "If I Aint Got You"-40%: I think this one will be the most likely candidate to win. Alicia won pretty big with "Fallin" a few years back, and i would say she's had the biggest year out of all of these nominees.
2. Beyonce "Naughty Girl"-25%: I feel this nominee is a "let's nominate her just because she's Beyonce". The video wasn't that good and i feel "Baby Boy" would've been a better choice. But still no one can deny the huge year Beyonce had even though most of it seemed so 2003.
3. Britney Spears "Toxic"-20%: Britney's strongest video in years, but still, that doesn't mean much. If she had a history of VMA wins i would say she would easily win this one, but she still hasn't won one yet, so her chances aren't as good as Beyonce or Alicia.
4. Jessica Simpson "With You"-10%: The only reason i feel she was nominated was because she helped the network bring in huge ratings for "Newlyweds". She's their darling and they couldn't leave her out. The fact that she's performing might help her win though.
5. Christina Aguilera "The Voice Within"-5%: This nomination is obviously an "We ran out of nominees so just throw anything in there" nomination. This video is too VH1-ish to win anything and i feel "Can't Hold Us Down" would've had a better shot.

The fact that Britney has never won one makes her chances better. She's the obvious choice.

I'd like to see Britney win.
The others are quite boring, with the exception of Alicia Keys (the song carries the video in my opinion)

"Toxic" will win because it raised a lot of eyebrows.

I have a strong feeling MTV was just waiting for an incredible video from Britney to give her the award...an this video is it. "Toxic" - Winner of the 2004 VMA's Best Female Video

Britney Spears. Has she won a VMA yet? for some reason I remember being told she hasn't won one yet.

This will definetely go to Britney.
The song was enormous, the video stirred up a lot of chatter and was pretty cool as well. Naughty Girl's video wasn't really that good, If I Ain't Got You's was decent but would never win against a Britney dance video, especially this one. The only cool thing about The Voice Within's video is that it was all one continuous shot, but it's really a boring video, and Jessica just got a nomination because she's an MTV star and favorite.

I think Toxic should have gotten it. Toxic was, easily, one of the best songs of the year, IMO, along with This Love.

They use Britney for promotion and yet can't give her a silly moonman? If Toxic can't win a moonmen and a stupid club cliche video like Naughty Girl can then what's the point of having this award show? It's supposed to be about the video. Mtv sucks
