I know Jet came out last year but close enough, as it is I couldn't fill 7 places.
Very few "imports" this year, which is disappointing because being abroad for the first 5 months, I'm more aware than ever that we're missing out on some really good stuff. It's a shame that foreign artists and their labels don't study the market here before promoting their product, otherwise I'd suspect musically a lot of them could fit right in.

As far as songs go, "Turn Me On" by Kevin Lyttle is my favorite here. But, I also love "In the Shadows" by The Rasmus and their other Euro-singles, not to mention their album is great.... so overall they get my vote.
As far as I'm concerned, the rest on the list are dispensible.

I agree wholeheartedly with Jersey Boy, and since I'm also torn between Kevin Lyttle and the Rasmus, and he voted for the Rasmus, I'll vote for Kevin Lyttle to be fair.

It's either Jet or the Rasmus...Rasmus seem a little more unique so they get my vote here.

Butterfly Boucher is the only one here whose entire album is incredible.

Other: Hikaru Utada (Japan) Didn't that MTV You Hear It First thing say she's American, but just moved to Japan when her career took off there? If so, she's not an import! ;)

I'd have to go with Rasmus.

Go Kevin Lyttle! My singing idol, next to Bob.

The Rasmus, seconded by Maria Mena, Jet, and Utada. I guess Kevin Lyttle, oh! and Butterfly Boucher but defintely NOT Sarah Connor! But only one, Rasmus.
P.S. What the F*CK is a rasmus?
