American radio screwed over more songs than I could fit in one topic... here's some more. The winners of the two can go head-to-head.
Which of these songs that WERE released here and flopped, but were huge elsewhere, most deserved to be a hit here?

Of the list, "She Wants To Move" is my favorite.... but my vote goes to "California" just because it sounds like it was MADE for summer radio airplay and it would've been a fun song to hear come on while driving to the beach, for example.

Definitely "She Wants To Move."
"Maybe" doesn't count because it never went for adds on any format. I have no idea why.

I don't really like any of these that much. "Trick Me" and "California" both made the lowest region of my chart. I'm going to give it to "Trick Me".

I thought it did. Was it supposed to and then got pulled? Well I never saw it on AllAccess or R&R's going for adds pages, so maybe? Though the video did get some video play, which is weird.

I could've also included "Sunrise" by Norah Jones and "Amazing" by George Michael. Oh well.

none of these are outstanding. that being said, Kelis deserved to have more hits, the album is still a very very good album, a highlight of 2003. plus it was a big hit in France!

I went with Dido. She beats the others by a MILE. And that's funny, it's my least favorite Dido track. I guess I'd say She Wants To Move second though...

"She Wants To Move" is the hit single American radio screwed over with. Same with "Trick Me". But something tells me that N*E*R*D still have a chance at American radio, if Virgin decides to give the Good Charlotte duet "Jump" a chance. It's a perfect song to reach at least Top 25 at Alternative (hey, OutKast did it! :)) and become quite big at Pop and maybe Hot AC and even Triple A.

I think what surprised me the most was Black Eyed Peas' Shut Up blowing up everywhere but US. US really screwed this song, but they said I'm sorry and made Hey mama a hit... go figure....
