www.radioandrecords.com/Newsroom/2006_07_28/postkatrina.asp says: Friday, July 28, 2006 Post-Katrina, New Orleans Rank Falls To No. 58 According to population estimates compiled by Claritas that have been approved for use by Arbitron, New Orleans' spring 2006 12+ population was 864,100 — a drop from 1,079,300 persons in spring 2005. That drops the market's rank from No. 46 to No. 58. Meanwhile, the market's 12+ population of African-Americans is now 251,900, a 36% drop from one year before. In Biloxi, the population changes were not as drastic: The market's 12+ population in spring 2006 was 303,400, compared to 308,300 in spring 2005. Biloxi's rank is now No. 143, down from No. 139. Additionally, Biloxi's 12+ African-American population is off just 3%, to 59,500. — Adam Jacobson, R&R Management/Marketing/Sales Editor

I don't know if I will know how much the Baton Rouge population changed until Arbitron releases their Fall 2006 Red Book. The Baton Rouge market has a population of 529,100 in the Spring 2006 Blue Book (each year one Red Book and one Blue Book is released).
