Here's another 90s sample hour, but this time I'm using a different rating format. The station is obviously the same.
NOTES: Incomplete is there as a convenience for those who haven't heard one or more of these songs. And quite obviously, a choice of A covers both A and A-, and B covers B, B+, and B-, and so on.

Wow...several surprises on this one. Of these, 5 (one short of half!) did not go Top 10. IMO, the biggest surprises were the Fatboy Slim, Firehouse, and Adina Howard songs.

Way too much novelty and way too much Early 90's. I'll give it a C... even though "Fly Away, "That's the Way Love Goes," "Freak Like Me," and maybe "All For You" are the only songs that I wouldn't change the dial for.

Tone Loc - Wild Thing: A- (Isn't this 80's?) You are correct. But...this isn't the first time they've made a mistake like this. One other time they played Paula Abdul's "Cold Hearted" even though that's from 1989. Chalk it up to station stupidity. ;) |
