When I bought the album the day it came out this song got into about thirty seconds and I lost it. I had to turn it off because I couldn't stop crying. I eventually stopped crying after a few times I heard it, but no doubt it still is a sad song and one of his best songs. He really puts emotion into this song. I hope he releases this as a single. What do you think?

Here are the lyrics:
TIM MCGRAW-- KILL MYSELF I'm gonna clean the house, gonna fix the fence. In my final hours, I'm gonna tie up these loose ends. I wont leave a note for anyone to find, tomorrow they'll know what I've done here tonight.
The drastic steps I've taken were just an act of desperation, I knew no one would miss me so what the hell. I faught and lied I drank too much hurt everyone I've ever touched, and just how much I hurt you its hard to tell. This is not some cry for help its goodbye I wish you well, because I love you I'm gonna kill myself.
Now who is that in my easy chair, now wait a minute thats the old me sittin there, and I thank god the devil in me died, cause I stand before you now a man changed and alive.
The drastic steps I've taken were just an act of desperation, I knew no one would miss me so what the hell. I faught and lied I drank too much hurt everyone I've ever touched, and just how much I hurt you its hard to tell. This is not some cry for help its goodbye I wish you well, because I love you I had to kill myself.
I'm gonna clean the house, I'm gonna fix that fence. In my final hours, I'm gonna tie up these loose ends

It's a good song, but I doubt you'll see it as a single.
Too controversial on country radio.

This song is not single material. "How Bad Do You Want It" is most likely the next single. I think they'll follow it with "Old Town New" or perhaps "Blank Sheet of Paper". Maybe even "Drugs or Jesus"

I was just listening to this yesterday. I really like it a lot, but I don't see it as a single. I think they should release it, but I doubt that it'll happen. "How Bad Do You Want It" is most likely next (though it wouldn't be my choice). "Blank Sheet Of Paper" will also probably be a single, and I think it's a good choice. After that I'd go with "My Old Friend" which would take the album to 5 singles. I wouldn't think they would, though this album's good enough to.

Too controversial on country radio. Doesn't seem too less controversial than "Whiskey Lullaby."

Haven't heard it yet. The title alone is controversial.
