Is it just me or does anyone else think that Britney was the one who started with all the breathing noises?

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Britney was the one who started with all the breathing noises? Britney definitely wasn't the first. Just ask Madonna and Janet where Britney got so many of her "trademark" ideas from. Nonetheless, "IAS4U" is a pretty good song.

"Breathe" by Fabolous or "Jesus Walks" by Kanye West.

I like "Sadeness Part 1" by Enigma best.
I don't like the breathing noises in "Personal Jesus."
Lots of breathing in "Jungle Fever" by the Chakachas.

Britney's breathing sounds so hot that I'd turn for her... so I have to say BRITNEY.

It depend on what flavor of Tic Tacs she was using so that she won't kill the microphone. But seriously, I do find female breathing in songs very sexy.

The best breathing noise was on Enigma's "Sadeness Pt. 1", but since it wasn't one of the choices, I choose Britney.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Britney was the one who started with all the breathing noises? Yes, I agree, all those decades of music had passed without anyone imagining this concept of "breathing" during a song... ...that is, until Britney came along.
