We know that I learned from the Best by Whitney was a great dance hit, but the original did nothing. Would I Bow Out have done more? My personal opinion is that I Bow Out could've gone top 20, but I Learned from the best only went top 60 i think. they were supposed to be double a-side singles. bad move on whitney's part, maybe nothing could've helped her though, this was right when she was caught with drugs in hawaii

"I Learned From the Best." Really liked that song when it was out.

I learned from the best was a 5th single so naturally it probably wasn't going to do as well as the other singles before it.

"I Bow Out", but I see why they went with ILFTB. Whitney's primarily known for her ballads and she hadn't released one from the album, so I understand their thinking that ILFTB would've been a hit. "If I Told You That" would've been my choice over either one, followed by "Oh Yes".
