This album was awesome but was a huge flop anyway. I like "TAOL" but think it was a bad lead single. "WIS2U?" was a poor choice when the album was filled to the brim with material. Forget the not-married controversy, I think the album would have done much better if they chose different singles.
"Afrodisiac" and "I Tried" were both announced as singles at one point and then cancelled. POLL QUESTION: If "A" was the lead single and "IT" followed it up, do you think the album would have been more successful? (even if only slightly)?

I prefer A and think A was the better choice. The choices in B are both straight up pop songs. She was doomed no matter what.

Afrodisiac and I Tried blow the other two songs out of the water. Not even CLOSE.

All of them should have been smash hits, as they are far better than the average material you find on radio. I think these songs should have been released in more adult-oriented radio formats, as these songs are more sophisticated than the pre-teen and teenage audience of pop, R&B and urban radio seem able to appreciate.

Afrodisiac should have been the lead single. She and Atlantic was foolish to let Benny and Kanye talk them into Releasing TAOL 1st.
I tried would have been theperfect follow up. The singles killed the album.

I still like "Talk About Our Love" as the lead single. Critics raved over it and it's awesome. People just bash it because it didn't perform well, whereas I think nothing would have performed any better as the lead single. That being said, I did not like "Who Is She 2 U" as the second single and either of the other two would have been better.

I instantly disliked it...and was not surprised when it flopped. At all. Its one of the few songs I dont listen to on the album...in fact the two singles are the ones I dont listen to haha.

I loved the whole album, but I'm voting from Afrodisiac/I Tried.

I love all of these songs, but I voted for B.
That said, she still would have flopped.
