Both of these artists have mass appeal. They're popular on more than one format, and, in all fairness, can't really be pegged. They're also very liked by music critics. ;)
Who do you like most?

I'm going to choose Gwen. While I do feel that Justin is very much talented, and I do enjoy his music, I enjoyed Gwen's CD more than I did his, and Gwen just seems to have more appeal, overall.
However, I am a supporter of them both.

Justin overall is a lot more successful.
Gwen's group is better than Justin's group, of course. But as far as solo careers...come on. Gwen's isn't anywhere near as big as Justin's. As far as quality? I'd say they are about even, for better or worse.

Gwen's group is better than Justin's group, of course. But as far as solo careers...come on. Gwen's isn't anywhere near as big as Justin's. That wasn't the question, though. I'd rate Gwen and Justin's singles as follows: 1. "What You Waiting For" 2. "Like I Love You" 3. "Rich Girl" 4. "Rock Your Body" 5. "Cry Me a River" 6. "Hollaback" 7. "Senorita" Removing "Senorita" from the list so that three-for-three can be compared, I'll go with Gwen 2-1.

I'd say "Cry Me A River" & "Rock Your Body" are far superior to "Rich Girl" and "Hollaback Girl"
"What You Waiting For" is the best song on Gwen's album and is better than any of JT's singles, but OVERALL, comparing 3 singles from each, I'd go with Justin, even though I'm not into that kind of music at all.

I pick Gwen easily. Gwen's album is much better.... but Gwen hasn't released the best songs from her album as singles.
Single ranking:
Cry Me A River Rock Your Body What You Waiting For? Hollaback Rich Girl Like I Love You Senorita

I voted for Gwen Stefani, even though I think Justin Timberlake had a better group of singles. I think that the first three singles from JT's album are all top quality pop music, whereas with Gwen's album, What You Waiting For is the only one that does it for me.
I really hope that now that Gwen has gotten that dance album out of her system, that she can go back to rocking with the rest of the band on their next album, because that's what she's best at. I'm not expecting them to re-create Tragic Kingdom, but I just want them to make something that can work at Alternative.

I voted for Gwen Stefani. I prefer Gwen's stuff. But I can tolerate the Sander Kleinenberg Remix of "Rock Your Body" and the Basement Jaxx Mix of "Like I Love You."
I have liked most of the songs off of Gwen's latest album. I still haven't bought Love Angel Music Baby. I might wait until the special edition comes out. Gwen has a perfect voice for dance tracks! Especially those 80's electro style remixes.

I looooooooooove me some Justin Timberlake solo album. Although I've only heard two Gwen solo songs, so I dunno. I did pick JT though.

I like Justin's solo material better than Gwen's. I like Gwen's group material better than Justin's.
I picked Gwen out of general preferance.

Gwen Stefani is hideously overrated, but she's still far better than Justin.
