This might sound a bit silly, but I'm trying to decide between three albums to get later today. I would just get them all, but I don't want to spend an excessive amount to do that, plus I already planned on getting Frankie J's The One today. The three are: Matchbox Twenty, Mad Season: I own Yourself or Someone Like You and More Than You Think You Are. Plus, I enjoyed "Bent" and the title track. Savage Garden, Affirmation: I really enjoyed "Crash and Burn", plus the title track was good, too. Also, I own their debut album (but I really should consider getting a new copy of that seeing as how this one is over 7 years old and one of the tracks keeps skipping no matter how much I clean the CD). Maroon 5, Songs About Jane: All four singles have made my chart. That alone is enough (probably more than enough ) to have my interest. So...given a choice of these three albums, which one should I get later today? I'll be going to FYE in the mall in town after I leave campus for the day, and I'll be leaving around 4:30 PM EST.

I like all three, but I'd have to give the edge to Savage Garden. Along with "Crash And Burn" (their best song), there are some great album tracks here ("I Don't Know You Anymore", "The Lover After Me"). Overall, a very solid album.

I only have Maroon 5 which I found to be a little boring and underwhelming...

Thanks for the input, guys! :)
I also conducted this poll on M4BCC, and the result was the same - Songs About Jane was the clear favorite.
So, unless I find either of the other two at an alarmingly cheaper price, it looks like I'll go for the Maroon 5 album.

Well, I decided to check the prices of all three before picking for sure. It's a good thing I did. Both Songs About Jane and Mad Season carried price tags of $19.99. But Affirmation had a sale price of only $13.99. So therefore, I chose to get Affirmation instead. I'm glad I did - it's just as good as (if not better than) their self-titled debut album. Now before anyone asks something like "so what did you want our help for?", I wanted input to fall back on in case all three had the same price. I'll probably get the other two at some point, just not right now. I'm curious to know - who were the two that voted "don't waste your money"?

I didn't, but I would have if the poll was still open.

Savage Garden. That album had some pretty good singles. It's probably really cheap for a used copy now at Half.com or Amoeba (I saw some for $2.99 there).

I would have voted for Matchbox Twenty.
