Which song here most sounds like a 90's song? Vote based on that, and do not vote based on which one you like or dislike most.
I know Unwritten Law is not a new act, but they are new in the sense that they came out in the 00's.
I think these all have 90's elements.
Natalie sounds like INOJ mixed with all those anonymous Latin R&B groups like Nu Flavor that were played all over the Southwest in the 90's.
Gavin's song reminds me of a male version of "Sunny Came Home"
"Grind With Me" sounds like Bone Thugs-N-Harmony mixed with R. Kelly's "Religious Love."
The Jesse song reminds me of the kind of Pop that was the precursor to the teen-pop craze.
Jojo's song sounds like Robyn meets old-school Monica... just not half as good as either one of them.
The Ceasars song is the least 90's song on this list imo, but reminds me slightly of Smash Mouth.
"Save Me" reminds me of a SOFTER version of some Offspring songs mixed with Collective Soul's Dosage Era.
This is a hard one, I'll vote later.... but I've narrowed it down to Natalie, Gavin, and Pretty Ricky.

I think it would have done alot better if it would've came out like 10 years ago.

I've only heard four of these, and only Natalie's song sounds like it came from the 90's. I think "So Far Away" by Crossfade should've filled that 8th spot, though.

I voted for JoJo's Not That Kind of Girl. I think Rob Thomas' Lonely No More sounds very circa late 90s-ish too, but I guess he doesn't really qualify for the new artist bid. :)

Gavin's song reminds me of a male version of "Sunny Came Home" Hmmm..."Chariot" reminds me of Maroon 5's "Sunday Morning".
EDIT: I take that back.
I haven't heard the Pretty Ricky, Jesse, or Caesars (not in full anyway) songs yet, so I'm also waiting to vote.[/font]

its so bad that it cant possibly be from this decade. That's a major oxymoron because the 00's is the decade of awful music, not the 90's.

Jesse McCartney - "She's No You" obviously Obviously, lol? Anyway, I ended up voting for Pretty RIcky. I think I'm in 1996 or something everytime I hear it.
