I really think Christina does the right thing by taking breaks between albums, because it gives listeners an opportunity to miss her. When she comes back, people will be ready for it because they have been anticipating it. My answer to this is YES! she will make a comeback on radio and steal Kelly Clarkson's spot!

It obviously depends on the material. Christina definitely has what it takes to make a smash, so as long as she brings it, she'll continue to have hits.

It all depends on the material. As long as she releases top notch songs, I think radio will continue to play her for years to come.

Like everyone is saying it depends on the material. The description of her album with the blues/soul/jazz theme doesnt seem that radio friendly. But hey. Im not gon underestimate Christina.

It depends how radio friendly her material is.
I miss her stuff. I want some new ballads and maybe a party track or two by her.
And no more covers of disco songs, Christina! Thank you. ;)

Of course. And I bet Kelly Clarkson is nervously wetting herself knowing that Christina is getting ready to reclaim her throne!

Of course.Β And I bet Kelly Clarkson is nervously wetting herself knowing that Christina is getting ready to reclaim her throne!Β this will be interesting kelly already kicked Britney and Jlo out of the horse race. Only Mimi is her threat right now. But Xtina will surely make a comeback. The fight of the queens is about to start. yikes - it's just like Lord of the rings.

She needs great producers that match perfectly with her strong voice. If she chooses good beats and melodies, but unmatches them with her vocals, she could be in trouble. Good luck Xtina.

Of course she can. She's gotta deliver, though.

I most definitely think she will. People will eat up whatever she puts out.
She's going to have a lot of competition, but I'm sure she'll manage her string of top ten hits. :)

Well we don't have any news on a new album yet, but i'm assuming she will release her new album this fall, meaning we won't hear a first single on the radio for at least 4 or 5 more months, and by then it will be a full two years since her last album single hit the airwaves, and a full year since the disaster "Car Wash" went for adds.

Comeback from what? Seems to me she's had more success recently than her songs merit.
