Ok, so who do you think will be the #1 Hot 100 Singles Female Artist of the year? Ciara has totally ruled the singles charts so I say her.

I'm going to go on a limb and say Mariah. "WBT" is already #2 in Hot 100 Buiding Airplay, and has monstruous bullets at 3 formats and is starting off on AC and UAC. It will be around a LONG time. I think now that WBT has opened up the floodgates for Mariah, her follow-up singles will be big as well. The next song is Neptunes-produced... it will probably end up being her biggest digital single off the album.

It will be close between all 4 of these though.

These poll results show how biased this board is. Mariah Carey is ahead of Gwen Stefani, yet Gwen Stefani is the one that has had 1 #1, and 1 top ten hit, while Mariah has had one top ten, and one top twenty. Anyone that voted for Mariah over Gwen must be indenial.

Ciara already had one monstrous hit with "1,2 Step", and "Oh" is the number one song on the radio! It'll be number one in a week or two.

"1,2 Step" was bigger than anything Kelly has done this year, and "Oh" is gonna be way bigger than "SUBG" and "BTHE"

Based on singles Alone, right now Ciara. Eventhough Goodies was big in the summer of 2004, she is working with "1.2 step" for 2005 and "oh"  which is likely to hit #1 on the Hot 100. So I'll go with her...Followed by

Gwen
Mariah

Mariah only real hit so far is We Belong Together, It's like that wasn't that big, all depends on her 3rd and 4th single.

I think Kelly will. I mean most of her singles on her album could become hits. I mean so far she has Breakaway, SUBG and BTHE. That's more than any one on the list except for Ciara. But she won't have any more hits off her album while Kelly will.
