Apparently, a pop mix for this song has been made, but there's no word on an adds date yet. Hopefully soon. A couple stations already have it on.

If Shania Twain couldn't break back here, I have doubts Martina will either.
No doubt "TOFTG" is particularly catchy, but it just doesn't sound like something CHR/Pop would catch on to presently. Country artists have been almost completely scarce from the format for almost half a decade now, with only the Dixie Chicks, LeAnn Womack, Faith Hill and LeAnn Rimes being few notable crossover presences.
The patterns indeed change and this single indeed has the potential. Who knows, teenage girls may relate to the lyrics and catch on and a cult following may develop and give this single some bonus airplay. But in this current scenario the most likely result is it won't chart.
My Prediction: Will Not Chart
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I like this song. I don't think it'll chart though.
That's kind of unfortunate. I wish that Martina capitalized after that brilliant performance of Concrete Angel on the Grammies, but I don't think it's to be.
Will Not Chart.

I can't believe they waited a full year to release it. I don't like this song at all. It's one of the worst she's ever put out.

This goes from 31 to 23 spins and from 25 to 23 spins on WAYV. On All Access, Keith Urban and Pat Green had pop mixes but neither crossed over.

My Hot AC station has been playing this song. I believe they are playing the remix you speak of, it's mostly the same thing. However, there is a distinct beat which makes the song flow a little better with pop radio. You can definitely hear the beat in the bridge (or when she sings the chorus more slowly).
Pop radio will most likely not accept this song, but they are seeming to embrace "Eighth World Wonder" which, I think, sounds a lot like "This One's for the Girls." And it seems to me that this has a better shot on pop than "Landslide" ever did which almost made the Top 10 if it hadn't been for a certain comment.

I like this, but I don't see it getting higher than #70 on CHR/Pop.

Why must they pick this shitty song to crossover? Blech...
She better be careful with these crossover attempts. She's one of very few female country artists that radio is still playing. Radio will have no qualms about abandoning her like they've done all the others.

I like this song a lot, but this shouldn't be the song of hers that crosses over. I'm surprised that 1998's "Valentine" never crossed over. That could've been a big pop hit (at the time). 1999's "I Love You" could've been a hit as well.

Not a good song; it shouldn't cross over. She had better.

I liked that "Wild Angels" song that Carmen Rasmusen sang on American Idol last year!

I liked that "Wild Angels" song that Carmen Rasmusen sang on American Idol last year! You should hear "Happy Girl" as well if you liked "Wild Angels."

I'm a really big Martina fan, and I love this song, but she's had even better, particularly "Where Would You Be", "Broken Wing" and "Independence Day" - love those three! I agree that this probably won't crossover, but I'd like it to, but as TCorey said, she has to be careful or else country radio will abandon her too.

This is suddenly picking up multiple adds and is at one of it's highest peaks at pop.

I sure hope it's just a fluke. This song is so old. It has got to go.

This song is one of her crappiest singles and it's over a year and a half old. It needs to die. Now.
