www1.allaccess.com/sounds/keviturn.ramThis was just added to the pop section. It's a GREAT soca track! It's almost 3 years old and was huge all around the world. It's finally made it's way to the United States. For some reason, I have a bad feeling this may not do well, but to be hopeful, I'll say #11.

Words can't describe how bad this song is and how much it sucks. I hope it flops HARD.

I like this song. This song was huge in Toronto. I don't see it doing well though, it just doesn't sound like any other songs on a CHR playlist.

This song has been huge in Australia - #3 peak
It's alright... it's kinda bad and annoying. Sometimes I like to hear it but it makes me laugh.

It came out in late 2002 in Canada (Lyttle is Canadian). It has missed its time for North America, however, despite its European and UK success.

I'm not sure when this goes for adds on pop, but I do know that this song has done very well worldwide, and it is already taking off at CHR-Rhythmic, which is a good indicator that this song will do well on Pop. It has a perfect summer feel, but I find it to be a little annoying. However, I still see this song doing well.

They waited too long to release it in the US. It was released 2/3 months ago in Germany and France. And it still reached the Top 5 there. I don't see how 2 months make such a big difference.

I don't understand the appeal of this song. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing on anyone's opinions, it's just that I don't think I've ever hated a song as much as I've hated this one. It's just so bad; I'm in awe of it's ridiculous-ness. Everytime I hear it I can just feel the steam shooting out of my ears.

Most Americans have no clue this song is three years old. Yeah, this song is mad old. I knew of this song for quite a while. Maybe it's because I'm half Jamaican and I usually know all of the reggae songs before it becomes big radio hits. Like I knew of Wayne Wonder's "No Letting Go," and Sean Paul's "Gimme The Light," way before it went to CHR. I really like this song, but I don't think it is as pop friendly as the Wayne Wonder and Sean Paul hits. It's catchy but I think it has too much of a "hyper" reggae song for American pop radio. I think some folks are not exposed to this type of music so they might not be able to handle or understand this kind of diverse sound. I can imagine the song doing well at radio stations in cities like Toronto, New York City, and Miami because in these cities there is a high West Indian/Caribbean immigrant population.

It's blowing up in both Miami and Tampa, where the Pop stations are playing it just to keep up with their Rhythmic rivals, who have it in high rotation

KEVIN LYTTLE Turn Me On Producer(s): Adrian Bailey, Jeremy Wheatley, Jeremy Harding Writer(s): various Publisher(s): various Label/Catalog Number: Atlantic PRCD 301448 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: May 22, 2004 With a soca rhythm and a dancehall feel, Kevin Lyttle's first single is a catchy, club-rattling song. The Carnival-hued track proved itself throughout much of Europe last year, where it was a top 10 hit. Now it's time to repeat the process in the United States. Lyttle's smooth vocals—which recall those of labelmate Craig David—are a perfect match for the track's incessant R&B beats (which borrow from 112's "All My Love") and Caribbean rhythms. Artists like Lil' Kim and 50 Cent have been so impressed with Lyttle's style that they have performed with him onstage. While the original version is not lacking, the bumped-up remix featuring Spragga Benz is poised to get the bulk of the attention; there is no way to sit this one out. With a self-titled album due in July, Lyttle's "Turn Me On" is well-poised to become one of the first radio anthems of summer.—JS

Is US radio not going to play the remix version with Alison Hinds?
because even the video on Launch is the one without her, and I believe the version with Spragga Benz, who just talks in the background at certain points
That's a shame because while the original is still good, the remix is much hotter, maybe that's because I got so accustomed to hearing it 2 summers ago, it's almost the only verison I know

Man Billboard is really just giving freebies with these reviews. I really started to get suspicious when they gave a favorable review to Where Is The Love; now I'm convinced that their just crazy. I can't get over how unoriginal, stupid, and bland this song is.

This song was pretty big down here a couple of weeks ago but I don't like it very much. I much prefer 2Play's cover of the song. :)
