I think this song is going to be huge. It's Top 5 in Italian airplay right now, and Ive been hearing it on an almost daily basis there since March. Its really popular, and since most of the people I hang out with there are other Americans, that could be an indication. Its great for the summer too, and its catchy as hell.

This song is f**kING RETARTED. Just like that Panjabi MC song, I hate all these songs in different languages. I don't listen to songs just for a stupid tune.

Unlike the Panjabi song, "Turn Me On" is in English and I can understand every single word so I don't know how it sounds like another language to you.

My God, are you married to Kevin Lyttle or something? Face it, lots of people don't like the song! LOL... he was merely pointing out that the song was in English, not a foreign language as the other poster had misrepresented. Whether or not people like it wasn't even mentioned in Rebirth's post.

Giving facts is defense? You seem to follow me into every post. I think someone wants to be "married" to me. Don't flatter yourself. I think I'd be the first person to die from yawning if I married you. And by the way, you weren't just giving facts. You called me crazy cuz I felt that since Billboard gave another wonderful review to a really half-assed song, they were handing out freebies.

No, I said it cuz he's been defending the song to the core...checkout the other pages of the topic Rebirth didn't say that to attack anyone. I can definitely understand his point, the song is written in English. Not in any different language. But Kevin Lyttle is Jamaican so that's where the confusion might come in. In Jamaica though, they speak English.

He is from the Caribbean island of St. Vincent.

This is one of the worst songs out right now. Kevin simply cannot sing. He sings off-pitch throughout the entire track and it grates my nerves. Hilary Duff has given better vocal performances than this.

So because it's a soca track, that gives him the right to sing off-key and sound unbearably bad? It could have been a decent song if someone else sang it, but his vocals are whiney and unlistenable to me.

I've said it before...everything about this song sucks for me. From the first time I heard it in 2002, to now, it's still a pile of dung rejected from the reggae craze last summer that brought us Sean Paul, Wayne Wonder and Lumidee.

www.kevinlyttle.netClick on "Launch audio player" at the bottom to listen to some FIYA clips from his album! I need to buy it ASAP. I'm glad I saw this video on VH1 a few weeks ago. Otherwise, I probably would've never seen it! Oh wait, I would've seen it on 106 & Park eventually. Nevermind.

That's how it used to be for me, but then I became immune to the vocals.

Kevin Lyttle is a great soca artist for anyone who is really into that style of music. :) In fact, many die hard reggae and soca music fans that I know happen to love the song. I'm so glad that he has made the top 5.

I still can't understand why this song is doing so well at Pop. I HATE this song!! Probably one of the worst songs of the year.

I don't understand why so many people hate this. This is better than at least half the other songs on the current pop chart.

I'm also surprised people don't like this. I thought it was one of the most instantly likeable songs I've heard in a long time. If I weren't so burnt out of hearing this song 10 times a day since like February back in Italy, I would have FOR ONCE been excited about a song climbing the upper portion of the chart.
