Hilary Duff's going retro for an upcoming project - she'll be releasing a single and video for her version of the Go Go's hit "Our Lips Are Sealed", which originally made the charts in 1982 - five years before Ms. Duff was born. The single will be one of four new songs recorded by Hilary for the soundtrack of her upcoming film, "A Cinderella Story" which hits theaters in July.

Actually, I think she could pull that cover off.
Most of the time, I'm pessimistic about Hilary, but this could be a hit.

Does this mean she's done releasing singles from"Metamorphosis"? She should release "Where Did I Go Right?" instead of a putrid cover.

ewww. I hated the original and I'll probably hate Hilary's cover even more. I can't imagine this being a hit except maybe in Radio Disney.

Argh. Her sister needs to get off of the coat tails. Hilary = good. Haylie = yuck.

Argh. Her sister needs to get off of the coat tails. Hilary = good. Haylie = yuck. Haylie wrote two songs for Hilary on the album. On that gossip site, it said some of Hilary's song may have been sung by Haylie! Shocking. "A Cinderella Story" is not a Disney movie and it's aiming outside the Disney crowd. This will be a hit outside of Radio Disney (who knows if they'll even play it).

I don't think anyone will take her seriously with this song. I don't think anybody really does....or at least I don't think too many people take her seriously. I don't think she's really meant to be taken seriously either.

I bet this song will go Top 10. Come Clean was actually impressive, and I don't think radio really cares too much about taking anyone seriously, or else we wouldn't have artists like J-Kwon, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Limp Bizkit or Creed on the radio

Bad song choice. She should release "Party Up" & "Where Did I Go Right"? Didn't she release "The Math" to Radio Disney?

Looking forward to hearing how this one turns out. I loved the cover Wild Orchid did for their second CD. Bet this version will be hot!

Just listened to it on AOL. I like it. But still her voice is way too processed.
The tone/sound of her sister's voice is horrid though. I like Hilary's though.
Much better than the Go-Gos version, but this is mostly because I hate Belinda Carlisle extremely.

I heard this today on Z100 for the first time and she sounds weird on the song plus I never liked the original so I just don't like the song either way!

I actually kinda like this, I can see it being a hit. This is her best vocally out of her other singles.

What about her do you most hate? [Note: I adore her, but understand that some people love her and some hate her and some love to hate her] I hate her hypocritical nature, her voice, her songs, and a person I know who is so obsessed with her that when her name has to be brought into every topic (in real life mind you) makes me want to throw a lamp through a window.
