I actually kinda like this, I can see it being a hit. This is her best vocally out of her other singles. Definitely.

Haylie is my online friend's friend! But I haven't talked to her since 2001, so I guess that wrecks my chances of a hook-up.
It's OK.

It's an instant impact so far at Number 96 with 74 spins.

This sounds like hit number three for Hillary! I really love Hillary Duff. I always sing "Come Clean," to my fourth grade students. Shhhh! Don't tell anyone. ;) They are always surprised that I'm familiar with the music that they like. The new track sounds great! It's such a fun cover. Hillary has a market (children and teens) that she is catering to and is doing very well with it. She scored a top 15 pop hit with "So Yesterday," and I was so elated that her followup hit "Come Clean" made the impressive CHR/Pop top 10. Her album also at one time was at the #1 spot on "The Billboard 200" Who ever thought Hillary Duff would make such great achievements? She proved many wrong that sold her short. I always saw the potential in her. I'm so glad that her career is thriving. Go Hillary, that's my girl! :)

They are always surprised that I'm familiar with the music that they like. That's like my mom's reputation in her classroom. Her special ed students think she's the coolest teacher ever because she knows about rappers (thanks to me).

Maybe I'm just hearing it in bad quality becuase I hate it. Sounds like the worst release from Hilary so far IMO...I will actually decide when I hear a good quality version of this.

I heard it and it's actually good. And I can tell who's who. It's way better than the remake. Hopefully it's another top 15 chr/pop hit for Hilary Duff.

HILARY DUFF & HAYLIE DUFF Our Lips Are Sealed Producer(s): Charlie Midnight, Spider Writer(s): J. Wiedlin, T. Hall Publisher(s): Plangent Visions Music/BMG Songs (ASCAP) Genre: POP Label/Catalog Number: Hollywood PRCD-11679 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: June 05, 2004
Sisters Hilary and Haylie Duff team up for a sugary remake of the '80s Go-Go's classic "Our Lips Are Sealed." With a nostalgic mix of synthesizers and soft vocals, the song—which is featured in the summer film "A Cinderella Story"—will bring back images of skinny ties and tube socks. But don't be fooled. The 2004 version is a well-produced pop song—performed by two singers who weren't even born when the original was a hit. Nevertheless, while it may not stand the test of time, the sisters' snappy rendition is poised to introduce a whole new generation of listeners to a decade long gone. But let's hope tube socks will remain a thing of the past.—KK

I saw the video on MTV this morning (while half asleep, mind you). This is better than her first two singles from the simple fact that she's covering a decent song. I'd rather her do that than try to sing original (read: crappy) material.

What does Haylie look like? Someone said she was the ugly older sister. Hard to imagine anyone uglier than Hilary!

It's only 2:42 long? (err..short) ???
Anyway, it's VERY pop friendly. Her first up tempo song at radio, it should do well.
I'd say between #11-15 for sure, with a shot at Top 10.

That doesn't even look like the sister in that pic.
I've seen other pics of her and she looks nothing like that, she looks alot worse. She has a gonzo-esque nose.
She looks pretty good in that pic.

I don't even see this hitting the Top 30, way too Radio Disney. When I hear this I could be on depressents and still be smiling for 10 minutes this song is so 'happy'.

Saw the video yesterday. Both the song and the video are alright. This should crack the top 40.

lol I love this song I saw the video again today, Hilary (and maybe her sister, I dunno) are appearing at the MuchMusic Video Awards this Sunday. I'd assume Haylie is going to be here as well, Im sure they will perform this song. Anyhow this song is so catchy, I like it. It's kind of short, but it works.

This is a surprisingly good cover. I'm shocked that I've liked the past 2 Hilary Duff songs after hating "So Yesterday".
