After less than 17 months as Hurban (it was CHR-Pop KFMD before that), Clear Channel has changed their 95.7 in Denver-Boulder from Hurban to Rhythmic AC. All Access Net News reports:
Whoopi Does Mornings As KMGG/Denver Flips To "95.7 The Party"
CLEAR CHANNEL flips KMGG (MEGA 95.7)/DENVER from Hurban to Rhythmic AC as "95.7 THE PARTY," with the syndicated WHOOPI GOLDBERG show for mornings, the cluster's Dir./FM Programming JOE BEVILACQUA for middays, and former MEGA 95.7 personalityes ISSA 2-7p and RAFAEL MEDINA 7p-Midnight.
"WHOOPI brings to DENVER morning radio her quick wit and one of a kind humor and charm,” said BEVILACQUA. "She has a long successful history of making people feel good and we couldn’t have picked a better entertainer to start the party than WHOOPI."
The Hurban format will continue on the station's HD2 channel and streaming at 957theparty.com.

So basically it's a HAC station? Because both of those links were HAC stations. And if The Fray are "Rhythmic", then Celine is rap.

So basically it's a HAC station? I wouldn't say that. www.yes.com/top100.php?s=WDVW says WDVW's playlist has "Sexyback" at Number 1 (it's Number 28 on Mediabase Hot AC) and "Promiscuous", "Buttons", and "(When You Gonna) Give It Up To Me" (which only has 7 spins on Mediabase Hot AC) in the Top 10. WDVW's Top 50 also includes "Love Don't Cost A Thing" (34 spins on Mediabase Hot AC) and "Independent Women Part 1" (30 spins on Mediabase Hot AC). www.yes.com/top100.php?s=KMVN has the Top 100 for another new Rhythmic AC station (in Los Angeles) which is mostly pop, rhythmic, and dance without much Hot AC or soft rock.
