Now I'm not positive, but it could be Angela Via. It was on the charts for around five months, from what I recall! It did well all those months too.

Well, for all time, I believe it is "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls.
If you mean recently as within the past year, "Here Without You" had the longest run I'm assuming.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

chebingeo is asking for artists with an ongoing string of Top 10 hits, not the amount of time a single has spent in the Top 10.
I remember some of the names brought up in 2002-3 were Pink, Destiny's Child (Beyonce), Justin Timberlake...
I think Justin Timberlake's is the only active one, if you don't count I'm Lovin' It and Work It (Remix). The rest have had flops.

Unless "8 Mile" made the chart... I don't remember.

"Hailie's Song" did though. It wouldn't really be fair to count that though since it made the chart without being an official single.

If you want to go way back Mariah had them from 1990 to 1997 or 1998. May be 16 songs in all.

I think Janet has the longest top 10 streak if you mean singles wise...she had 18 top 10 hits in a row.

I think that's right to, I just look at her chart history and her brothers to answer the triva question. I didn't count but I think she had more.

I think Janet has the longest top 10 streak if you mean singles wise...she had 18 top 10 hits in a row. Janet had 15 in a row from 1989-1994. By the way, Michael Jackson had 23 in a row from 1979-1992, Mariah Carey had 18 in a row from 1990-1997, and Madonna's longest run was 14 from 1984-1987. Dependeing on what is meant by "current" Top 10 streak, Genesis have 11, a streak started in 1984, although they haven't had one since 1993.

This was the one I was looking for. The streak is still intact!... It's possibly intact. Anyone know if "Congo" their first (and as far as I know, only) post-Phil Collins single was ever shipped to pop? If it was, it was obviously a dud and, technically, broke the streak.

You'd have to date back to the 1990's to find some more impressive streaks. Matchbox 20 had a six single streak (Rob Thomas seven). Hootie & The Blowfish had a Top 10 streak at seven. And I also believe Madonna had a lengthy one. Sincerely, Noah Eaton
