Every now and then this occurs-
Has anyone noticed that for the current 7-Day Quick Cut Info, the number that appears in the "last week" column for tracks that had high spins counts (i.e. 50+) is WAY lower than last week? I follow airplay for some tracks, and I've notived that happens from time to time, but this week the differences are pretty darn big in some cases. Would that happen if Mediabase cuts stations or somethin'? Only thing I could think of.
Thanks. :)

Not sure, if this is the answer your looking for, but there has been quite a few format changes, like WCDV in Louisana, spins for a certain song took a nose dive as they started playing different types of songs? Does that make sense?

Each week, I record the current 7-day total for a particulr track- say it was 350 when I did last week. Then, this week, I look at the tally for last week's 7-day period (that I recorded, and which was the then-current rolling total), and it's 265. The number is supposed to represent the same period- it wouldn't matter if a station changed formats, as that number is supposed to represent the same period that I recorded the prior week.
That's why I thought that maybe, in some weeks, certain stations may be cut from the report- hence, the "last week 7-day rolling period" may just take info from the stations that report for that particular week.
Does this make sense to anyone? Am I explaining it well enough? :)
