Her cover of SWV's #1 hit will be her follow-up to "Leave". Typically I'd say this is a dumb choice to release a cover as your second single, but her label has major payola on her.

I liked this cover alot! I'm glad for this release that way people can remember SWV as the great group they are.

I have yet to hear it, but I love the original, so I will be a hard critic on this cover.

The majority of pop listeners today probably won't even know it's a cover. I don't care for it. I'd rather just play my SWV mp3.

JoJo rocked on this! She's "Christina Aguilera meets SWV" according to MTV!

I think JoJo will be around for a long time, just as long as she doesn't turn into a really bad girl, but people would probably cheer her on anymore if that were the case. I think "Leave" will at least make the top 5, #1 isn't out of the question.

It's hard for me to picture a 13 year old singing this song. I guess the fact that she has turned 14 since recording it may make it seem not as bad.
I really loved this girl until I found out she was only 13 when she recorded her album.

I really loved this girl until I found out she was only 13 when she recorded her album. Remember Monica and Brandy started out really young and look at them now. They are still around with successful singles today. I think it is great to see very young performers like this in the music business. I agree with Exactly96, I think JoJo has the potential to stay around for quite sometime. Her voice is really great. Plus she is signed at the late Aaliyah's record label, "Blackground Records." It took quite sometime for Blackground to cope with the loss of Aaliyah, especially being that she was the biggest artist at their label. We all know that Aaliyah can never be replaced but I'm really sure that Blackground is pushing really hard for JoJo to be the next successful protégé after Aaliyah .

Edf85 and I missed out on seeing this future Monica perform for free at the mall! :( New JoJo! :'(

I don't think it's that great. First of all, the production is WEAK. The original production was done for this song 12 years ago and it sounds better quality than this. Secondly, I keep hearing "oh her voice is great. She could definitely be the next Christina." I don't know if people are hearing the same voice but I think people are giving her credit just because she hasn't even hit puberty and can carry a tune.

Some songs are not meant to be remade, they should be left alone and left for the original artist. I see "Weak" as one of those songs. I heard that "Leave" song a few times since I've been back, and true as it may be that the artist sounds like a joke to me, I'd be against even one of my favorite artists remaking "Weak" because SWV is what makes the song as good as it is, I think.

Honestly though, how many covers ARE actually better than the originals? I don't know that I've heard any ever. No one can touch SWV's version, but I think this one is good too; it's not like she ruins the song or anything unlike over covers I've recently heard from Pop artists. But different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

Wow that is terrible! She does have some talent though - especially for a 13 year old - she just needs to learn how to control that voice.

That was terrible-well I can HEAR talent but she has no control or any idea of when to lay it on and when not to.

She's always pouting! I'd rather see her give a nice (scary) smile like Tarralyn Ramsey or Myra!

I like [good] covers, so I'm happy this is her next single.
Her version is definitely not as good as SWV's, but I like it. I'm interested in her, I wanna hear her album.

I was afraid it'd be a cover. I don't want it to do well.
