I LOVE this song now. It's helping me get through my three term papers due tomorrow! I can see my dreams! :)
I want a Jasmine Trias single soon! Perhaps a Hoku cover?!

“Dreams” is a good song, but I am more impressed with Diana’s version of “I Believe.” While I think Fantasia sang it better live, Diana’s studio version is amazing….perfect song for her. I don’t think any of the songs from the two singles will do well at radio…however Diana’s “I Believe” is the highlight for me.

Amazing.
I think I like this better than the radio edit of Fantasia's I Believe. Had they not cut off a good portion of the single version, I'd probably choose I Believe with a slight win.

I finally heard this song and it's not that good. It's simply okay. Maybe it's a grower.

Diana’s “I Believe” is the highlight for me. Agreed. I was uber-impressed with her studio version. Amazing. While I think Fantasia definitely sang it better live, especially with the "Love keeps lifting me higher" part, Diana's studio version blows it away.

Diana went 0 for 3 with her cd single. I wouldn't be surprised if we never hear a Diana Degarmo album. No way RCA is going to put a lot of money into her, she can't sell, and radio doesn't like her. It's a wrap.

I like this song. I was about to buy the single but it was too expensive.

She is supposed to be working with Linda Perry on her album who has pretty good material. If she could get a "beautiful" out or a "just like a pill" she will be fine

Maybe I'm wrong, but wasn't Just Like A Pill written/produced by Dallas Austin?

This is so good. I have to buy the single now. I love how much screaming there's going on. Plus, the song has a cheese factor.
I was about to get Tarralyn's "Up Against All Odds" because it's 99 cents at Virgin Megastore and Tower Records. New Tarralyn!

I thought Linda Perry did Don't Let Me Get Me as well as Just Like a Pill, but definitely Don't Let Me Get Me
Maybe I'm thinking of something else ???

I prefer Diana's studio version of "I Believe" over Fantasia's.

i don't mean 2 be mean or anything, but William Hung has more character than this chick! AND HE'S RETARDED!!! (or something I've heard) . Seriously, I'm an AI fan, and I got caught up in the madness like everyone (I actually taught Jon Peter Lewis was good ???) but I think this chick has been manufactured since the womb, I mean the girl can "SANG" but this is w/o a doubt, the worst first AI single I've ever heard. Like I said, she's a great singer, but she's has to find her style like Fantasia cuz this song is so sappy it's nauseous.

DIANA DeGARMO Dreams Producer(s): Desmond Child, Andreas Carlsson Writer(s): D. Child, A. Carlsson, C. Braide Publisher(s): various Label/Catalog Number: RCA 62914 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: July 24, 2004 Diana DeGarmo's lofty flight onto The Billboard Hot 100 at No. 14 shows there's plenty of support for the "American Idol" runner-up. And with good reason. "Dreams" proves that the teen is loaded with the kind of talent that defines those "AI" grads that have come before her, as she delivers a powerhouse vocal that could stand its ground with early work by LeAnn Rimes. The single includes two extra cuts: "Don't Cry Out Loud" is a bit overly mannered, while the lyrical idea of a 16-year-old acting as anyone's teacher is a stretch. And her rendition of Fantasia's No. 1 hit "I Believe" shows that the right woman won. Still, DeGarmo is a legitimate talent, off to an admirable start—although one has to wonder how many more TV factory workers the public is going to support. The concept seems to be thinning, especially considering the similarity of material across the board.—CT

The song is crap. It won't do anything on radio.
