I love this duet from the American Idol christmas cd. both Ruben and Tamyra have great soulful and warm voices that blend together so well. I have always liked this song but have come away disapointed at most versions i heard always feeling no one had the great voice and arrangment to make the version great . Finally a version that lived up and maybe supassed its potential.  |

Their version doesn't do anything for me really and this is probably my favorite of the classic christmas songs. It just seems lifeless, like they were going through the motions.

this song is featured on last years american idol christmas cd as well as this year "ultmate christmas 2" cd . |

because they are great singers with so much talent and will both have long careers because of it.
