Although she was coming off one of the biggest pop hits of the year, I didn't expect Everytime to chart so well. It peaked at number 4 with over 6500 spins. Did anybody else expect this?! Considering it's Britney and it's also a ballad, this song went alot further than what I originally thought.

You didnt have to make a new topic about the song. But no, I wasnt surprised, especially coming after "Toxic" which has a lot of success

I am a fan and I am Surprised. None of her ballads have ever really been big hits so it wa snice to see that change.

Not suprised whatsoever.
And I'll tell you a couple reasons why:
1) You can almost always count on a ballad to follow a pop hit. Ballads always seem to find their way when in eclipse of a huge hit.
2) This is britney Spears we're talking about. "Toxic" went #1, so it seemed pretty obvious no matter what her image alone would propel a Top-10 follow-up.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton
